“We, a group of retirees, decided to try out this restaurant for our group's weekend gathering. 19 of us showed up on Sunday. The coffee is excellent. The environment is both homy and comfortable. Everybody loves their Tostones Encanto and Sopa de Mondongo. The service is unbelievable. We don't speak Spanish, but the staff made sure that we got what we want. We will definitely come back.“

“Very small place, not attractive .didn't eat the meat but rice and beans ok .the price for such a small place .it's not a real restaurant. and they don't speak much English so you have to know Spanish or some Spanish .didn't like it but I had to get something to eat . “WOW!! Love Love Love this little place. lt’s great! First of all, we've been looking for a good burger place in the Union City, WNY, NB area, and it’s been tough, usually they’re mediocre at best, but not this one.
We walked jn and were warmly greeted. Our server was so sweet! She handed us a menu, which looks like an ipad, and there were so many choices, with pictures of the what the food looks like.
My bf and I ordered 2 burgers because we were in a burger mood. I can say that it definitely wasn’t a disappointment! The burgers were juicy, tasty and big! Definitely the Best burger we’ve had in the area.

The place is small, but so charming with all the decor. And they have a TV screen which shows how all the food is prepared. definitely makes you hungry!

Granted, the burgers were messy but definitely worth it! Besides the fact that they give you utensils.

As we were walking out, we ran into one of the owners, And we had to tell him how much we loved the place and the food.

Parriyas is absolutely a great choice for sandwiches and bowls and the wonderful service!

It's too bad this place is closed though. I really wish there was a restaurant in my current area that is at least remotely similar to Fruit Festival.“

“I like this place. We had brunch and the food tasted really good. Baked Chix w/ lemon, awesome. Juicy, moist and tasty. The rice and beans w/chicharones, yum. Not into sweets but the flan w/caramel just hit the spot, it was sweet but not too sweet. The ladies, servers, was very nice and attentive. The ambience, upgraded industrial columbian resto, great.“

“First time there few hours ago watching the game against my Brazil by myself alone in the opponent home hahaha and we won by 2x1 in the end of the game lol. The ambient was incredible, amazing food, the crew was very professional and friendly and definitely I love the Colombian people who has so much in common with us Brazilians, good heart people. I have been living in the United States for a while and it is the first Colombian restaurant that has good tartar and good pineapple. “You would never expect some really good food from the exterior look. It not a restaurant but a grocery store that sell prep food dishes. Food is made fresh daily. Friendly service. Some minimal seating for quick eats for locals lunch time. Parking is limited in the back. For the price of a processed value meal across the fast food place, I rather get some freshly cooked home style flavorful Latin food.“

“Ambiance is not great but the food is good and affordable. Our server Sorelly was awesome. They don’t sell fruit juices only coffee, soda and water. There is also additional charge for gratuity and credit card processing fee. Anytime I am in the area I stop in to get a nice bowl of lentejas.“

“We were travelling for 2 months and really craved a burger. We read the recommendations for this restaurant and it was walking distance from our accommodation. O.M.Gosh!!! The burgers were amazing!!! The service was fantastic. All the waiter's were so lovely.
We loved it so much, we went back again a few days later.
Also tried the hotdog. That was also unbelievable.
Great job!! Its a bit of a trek to come from Australia, just for a hamburger but....maybe again one day soon.“

“love this spot!!!! 100% recommend it. the line is alittle weird and the wait is 10-25 minutes depending on time of day but their plate of rice carnitas avocado, plantains and their special pink is the BOMB!!! seriously it’s so packed full of flavor you won’t regret it i’ve come here more times then i can probably count and it’s a 40-50 minute drive from my house. also they have a chimi sandwich it is also awsome i wouldnt put i above the plate of food but it is definetly good“

“I got my lunch today from La Placita. The food was super delicious.I had, white rice, beans, pork , and a little salad. The lunch also includes a little soup. They had beef or chicken.I picked chicken soup, perfect for this type of weather.
Another thing I like about La Placita, is their extensive bakery line.I had the corn bread, it's shape in the form of a big tart.Delicious. Their guava roll is extremely good also.
This place is always extremely clean.I Love to get my meals and bakery items from here .

“Great hidden spot for some authentic Colombian food. They have three (3) different dishes of the typical Colombian plate: Bandeja Paisa. Also, it is a BYOB. There is parking onsite. I have not had a bad time here. Everything is delicious and the service is great. Highly recommended.“

“Their empanadas are HUGE! The chicken empanada was the tastiest I have ever had and inexpensive. Its 1.50 for a massive empanada- see how large it is relative to my thumb!
The service was really nice too and the shop is warm and cozy with delicious smells.
