“My sister and I got 2 bingsoos (black sesame and rice cake), a sweet potato latte, and a pistachio dacquoise. They were all very delicious and unique.
The sweet potato latte has a strong sweet potato taste, which satisfies the soul and the dacquoise was very soft and chewy. The bingsoos was also very unique. It kind of had a dry(?) flake to it, but I liked the texture of it. I do wish there was more red bean in it, but it still hit the spot.
Would love to come back and try more of their pastries.“

He chose a few cookie dough cupcakes, while I got brownie, chocolate-covered strawberry, and vanilla with chocolate frosting cupcakes. I've only tasted the chocolate-covered strawberry one so far, and it was delicious. He didn't regret picking up multiple cookie dough cupcakes. We're looking forward to finishing our selections. “Got the popular pistachio raspberry cake slice and the mango passion fruit mousse cake. They were both great. The cake slice looks slim but is quite filling. The mango passionfruit mousse had a coconut base which was a little too sweet but the tanginess from the mousse balanced it well. Overall, it’s a decent spot to go to for those sweet cravings.“

“My sister was having a beach chic baby shower because her and her husband do not want to know the gender. She wanted cupcakes that looked like succulents that also taste delicious. I immediately thought of Huascar and asked if he could do it. I traveled to Florida with them and they were a hit. “Such helpful and wonderful staff . Picked up a valentines cookie cake for my daughter’s class and they decorated it wonderfully. I was given a free sample of the caramel crumb cookie and it was divine. Did I mention they were super friendly and kind ???? 100/10

They have many treats and I saw some gorgeously decorated chocolate strawberries and I thought the price was amazing for the presentation. I think a dozen strawberries were $36 which is a bargain compared to other places who make subpar looking strawberries . I would have loved to receive them as a gift myself !

“This spot in the UES is a true hidden gem. We absolutely loved the pistachio kunafe froyo. Initially, I was unsure if I’d enjoy it, thinking it might be too sweet, but it was incredibly delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced—the sweetness and crunch of the pistachio kunafe complemented the creamy froyo wonderfully.

This was my second visit. During my first, I tried the froyo with mango and raspberry, and it was equally amazing.

I drove twice in 2 days to grab cupcakes and cookies… I cannot say what’s my favourite out of the cupcake, the brownies, the cookies etc because everything was decadent and not too sweet. You taste the quality of the ingredients and the love they put while cooking them. The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. They’re on the expensive side compared to other bakery, but once you compare you understand why… You taste the butter in everything! If you like some fluffy, moist, creamy cupcake this is your place… While planning my wedding, I’ve compared a few bakery and non are as good as this one… Thank you for the amazing experience and taste!“

“Steph’s Baking Boutique was recommended from a local page. I am from out of the area, but needed to order a cake for my sister-in-law’s baby shower. This was a perfect recommendation! Steph did a fantastic job, the cake was delicious and we ordered cupcakes in another flavor to accompany the cake. I had sent her some ideas and photos and she went above and beyond. For the toppers of the cupcakes I thought she would just do an icing decoration, but she added sugar cookies and they came out so cute and complimented our theme perfectly! Thank you again!“

“My husband and I were so happy to find WildFlour in LIC a few months before our wedding! We were initially on the fence about getting a wedding cake, but as soon as we met Gina for our tasting, we knew we needed to have a WildFlour cake.

We loved the unique, modern, and (most importantly) delicious cake/frosting options - it was hard to choose, but we ended up doing a champagne vanilla cake with champagne & honey lavender buttercream for our wedding cake. (For what it’s worth, my husband is not a cake/dessert person, but he loved the WildFlour cakes. His direct quote: “Best cake I have ever had”)

Leading up to our wedding, Gina was super responsive and accommodating with a couple of changes we wanted to make. On the day of our wedding, Gina coordinated her delivery with my florist so that she could decorate the cake with fresh flowers. The end result was beautiful and the cake was incredible! (In fact, we ended up eating the top tier of our cake the day after our wedding because there was no way we could wait a year.)

“Excellent cappuccino, perfect for a dip of their excellent biscotti. I love coming here with the kids because they have little pastries that mean your kid is not eating his/her weight in sugar but feels like it's a nice treat.

These are the most delicious pignoli cookies I've ever had (almond with pine nuts on top) and are very expensive because they are only with almond flour. Be warned not to have price shock with those.“

“I ordered a Palermo’s Bakery wedding Cake for my New Jersey December 2023 wedding and tasting that cake with my husband was truly a slice of heaven! Not only did our cake look beautiful but it tasted delicious which I was honestly not expecting! I thought we3dding cakes just all looked beautiful, I didn’t realize they could taste this good! We had a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting and CANOLLI cream filling which was AMAZING! I honestly still crave it to this day! We added our own little doggie figurines to our cake, and it looked perfect when displayed at our wedding! We skipped the cake tasting because we ran out of time but honestly, we didn’t need it! Palermo’s delivered a PERFECT wedding cake for us, and it exceeded our expectations the day of our wedding! “The quality of taste over the years have been in a steady decline in my opinion, and I have been having this cake on occasions in one way, shape, form or another for the past 50 years. My grandmother started us, then my parents, then for my kids....it has steadily been baked too dry, not enough filling, and increased sweetness of the outer cake frosting...all makes for a recipe of being disappointed....but you cant tell tham at Valencia, because they swear there is nothing wrong with their product, but I differ, I have been getting the same feedback from many others as well...So What's Up Valencia????When are you going to admit it iij s time to change the Baker and or recipe???“

Personally, I had issues with the service all the time I visited here. Sometimes, it was another "privillaged" person sneaking into queue and the billing person supporting them going by racial bias or whatever. Other times, they would not return a smile, so I had issues in all the several visits, may be it is just me.“
