The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. She helped my fiancé and I pick wedding cake flavors, made suggestions and gave us samples. Her Bavarian cream is out of this world. We ended up getting a lobster tail when we were leaving. I swear on everything I love that was the best thing I had in a LONG time. It was crisp, yet soft and as big as my hand filled from top to bottom with the Bavarian cream. I see why it’s so highly recommended and I’m upset it took me so long to come! This will now be my bakery of choice. “My husband and I were so happy to find WildFlour in LIC a few months before our wedding! We were initially on the fence about getting a wedding cake, but as soon as we met Gina for our tasting, we knew we needed to have a WildFlour cake.

We loved the unique, modern, and (most importantly) delicious cake/frosting options - it was hard to choose, but we ended up doing a champagne vanilla cake with champagne & honey lavender buttercream for our wedding cake. (For what it’s worth, my husband is not a cake/dessert person, but he loved the WildFlour cakes. His direct quote: “Best cake I have ever had”)

Leading up to our wedding, Gina was super responsive and accommodating with a couple of changes we wanted to make. On the day of our wedding, Gina coordinated her delivery with my florist so that she could decorate the cake with fresh flowers. The end result was beautiful and the cake was incredible! (In fact, we ended up eating the top tier of our cake the day after our wedding because there was no way we could wait a year.)

“This bakery used to have another location in downtown flushing. I tried their cake before and liked it. So it decided to order a custom cake and cupcake from them.

The owner/baker was very easy to communicate with via text. She explained all the details to me, even suggested to go light on the color of the cake, too much food coloring is not good for children. This is something I have not thought of as a mother ! And I appreciate her reminding me of this !!

On the day of the pick up, I was a bit worry about how the cake would turn out. The cake turned out great !! and it tastes great too !! Several of our guests at the party ask for the bakery and they want to order cakes for their own birthday !!

“Stopped by Cold stone for a late night treat. Tried a combination of the mint flavor and sweet cream flavors with chocolate chips and brownie pieces as my chosen mix ins. The final result was a rich and smooth variation of mint chocolate chip with a creamier and fudgey taste. The man who was working the counter was quick to take care of our order and was friendly and attentive from start to finish. Very pleased with the experience and the ice cream itself.“

“We often stop by this Baked By Melissa store in GSP. It is a small counter of take out only store. They have online pickup options as well. Different kinds of cake packs and sizes are displayed in front of the counter. The store usually has good inventory and variety of packs.

In recent months, they introduced individual small cakes instead of whole packs. They have 6-8 flavors on display. My daughter usually pick 4-5 flavors a for 6 pack. We love the tiny cakes. They are always fluffy and delicious. They stay good in the fridge up to a week after opening a pack.

Staff are always friendly and courteous. They also have membership benefits that includes special offers, birthday perks and few more good benefits.“
