“Been eating here for years, the place may be under new management, but the Mexican food is still the same. My one gripe with the restaurant is the lack of quality napkins, your only given one and the napkins are subpar. but everything else is amazing.“

“We recently dined at a charming locally-owned Mexican restaurant that truly captures authentic Mexican flavors. From the moment we arrived, the cozy atmosphere and live music set a welcoming tone, and the performer's beautiful voice added to the experience.

We started with the jalapeños rellenos, a delightful fried jalapeño appetizer, which was stuffed with ham and cheese served with a deliciously smoked creamy dipping sauce. We spilt the shrimp for dinner, which was served with rice, beans and flour tortillas. This brought a serious punch of spice! If you love bold flavors, you'll appreciate the sauces here, but be warned—they are fiery, so use them sparingly. The fresh juices were a nice touch, and we especially loved the homemade tamarind juice, which was perfect for cooling down the heat from our meal.

While the chips weren’t as fresh as we would have liked, the flavorful salsa made up for it. Service was a bit slower than expected, but our server was sweet and polite, making us feel welcomed despite the wait.

This spot stands out for offering truly authentic Mexican cuisine—different from what you might expect at your average Mexican restaurant, which makes it worth the experience. If you’re craving an authentic experience and love supporting local businesses, I’d recommend giving this place a try!“
