“Ordered takeout about a week ago, expectations were low as I haven’t had much luck with similar places on either side of the river. Indiscriminate google search for “Chinese food near me”, called in the order on my way home from work, stuck to the basics; wonton soup, egg rolls, fried dumplings, and mushu pork. Proceeded to the location from which I had blindly ordered and, recognizing the store front upon arrival, resigned myself to another late night lack luster dinner on the couch.
Wrong! Soup wontons (generous count), egg rolls, and dumplings look/taste hand made and were freaking delicious, bawler soft fried egg on the mushu, and both entree and dipping sauces were flavorful without being over salted. Everything was as order, hot, cooked perfectly, and ready in the given time. Zero hesitation in this recommendation and many predicted returns. The “ Specialty Coffee Roasters “ truly speaks for itself as the coffee and the service / atmosphere here is special in itself. This past weekend, on Saturday my church had an event where they had Turtle Beans come out to be a barista for the event itself. I ended up getting the caramel iced latte and it truly was the best iced latte I have personally had. It was so good that it drove me to go immediately after Sunday service to their shop right on Farnsworth Ave in Bordentown to get the same coffee! They have so many hand crafted coffee options to choose from cold or hot, as well as hand crafted seasonals to try and choose from! They import and roast their own specialty coffee beans from multiple coffee producing countries around the world making every sip a truly unique experience! They also have different varieties of teas and pastries sourced from local bakeries! Steven and Linda are so very welcoming and genuinely amazing people, they have made the atmosphere for their shop as welcoming as they are. Keep making amazing coffee and specialty’s Turtle Beans, you are both rocking it! Generous portions and so incredibly delicious especially on a hot summer day. I got the donut ice cream sandwich. Donut was alright but the ice cream…the chocolate overload is the best!! If you love all things chocolate, this is the flavor you need to get!! Staff was extremely friendly, patient, and helpful. 10/10 would recommend!“

“I absolutely love this store and hate they don't deliver. I wish they would because I'd order probably 5x more that I normally do and I go there a lot. Everyone there is so nice and professional. They have great attitudes and are willing to help any way they can. I cannot get enough of this place. My absolute favorite are the cheese fries. I had an issue with my phone getting wet so it wouldn't work and they were so kind to let me use the phone that was behind the counter to try and call my husband to order me an Uber home. He didn't answer and they called for me again because I cannot dial the number because the phones are far behind the counter. They are just so pleasant there and I would recommend any and everyone to go there and try their food. I've never had not 1 thing that I didn't like or was not satisfied with. This place is great“

“My brain chemistry have permanently been altered by the crème brûlée, dark chocolate mousse, and tiramisu cake here. Got the tiramisu cake for my mom as a birthday cake a while ago and have been getting special occasion cake from them ever since. every bite was delicious and the texture is really fun. It might feel like a small cake, but it is so creamy and complex it can easily be shared by 8 people. I Love how they use solid chocolate to do their letters when you order ahead. As a big pudding/custard fan, there is just something really unique with combing all these components into these beautiful cakes. I will say if you have allergies, definitely ask, I was once surprised by delicious hazelnut component.“

For the first time, I tried the wine. They sell Meadowcroft by the bottle or half-bottle at a high price. The red Zinfandel was the worst wine that I have tasted in a very long time. Both sour and tannic, I could not drink it. Do yourself a favor - enjoy the food but don't order the wine.“

I went with the bbq brisket burrito. I could not taste any brisket in it but liked the way it was cooked. Maybe a sliced cheese to give you a pull would have helped as well.
