“Great place! The chorizo tacos were really good, great portion and price. Their homemade habanero sauce was so good and spicy! My dad had the chuleta de cerdo with rice and beans and said it was also great so definitely check this place out. I was working in the area but definitely would make the 45 minute drive to eat here again!“

I was there last week ordered white rice with beans oxtail and barbeque pork spare ribs. Food was delicious!!! They even went above and beyond by cooking new pieces of pork for me so that they can be fresh. The pieces of pork was just right with the right amount of meat and fat. Usually places I’ve tried had so much fat that I don’t get to enjoy the chicharones but not this location.“

“The decor at this morsel of Costa Rican culture is aesthetically pleasing and if you’re in the area, this is one of the better Tico spots. We watched Costa Rica beat Paraguay in a Copa America game while eating pupusas, un Casado and Tacos Ticos and totally hit the spot. Especially since they served some salsa Lizano on the side.“

“It is a local restaurant. Nothing fancy but service is amazing; waitresses are always making sure you are not missing anything. Chips keep coming and salsa is fenomenal. Best thing are the trafitional home margaritas and served right on a margarita glass.“

“First time visiting, and it didn’t disappoint! We came for lunch as a group of 8 and had a great experience. Wendy was our host—friendly, attentive, and clearly a hard worker who made us feel welcome right away.

We ordered a variety of dishes including the chicken sandwich, breaded chicken breast, skirt steak, shrimp, beef soup, tostones, french fries, tortillas, salads, and steamed vegetables. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared, with generous portions all around.

One of the highlights for me was the drinks—they offer natural fruit juices, including my favorite: freshly squeezed orange juice. You can really taste the freshness!

Overall, a great spot for delicious Latin food and warm service. Looking forward to coming back.“
