“stopped by for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. the food came out pretty quick and everything tasted fresh. tried one of the house specialties and it had a lot of flavor without being overly heavy. portions were decent and definitely filling for the price. the place itself is simple and casual, nothing fancy, but it felt clean and welcoming. staff were friendly and patient while explaining a few menu items. service wasn't perfect and there was a little wait for the food, but nothing that ruined the experience. overall a solid local spot and i'd definitely come back to try a few more things.“

“The decor at this morsel of Costa Rican culture is aesthetically pleasing and if you’re in the area, this is one of the better Tico spots. We watched Costa Rica beat Paraguay in a Copa America game while eating pupusas, un Casado and Tacos Ticos and totally hit the spot. Especially since they served some salsa Lizano on the side.“

“This little gem is located across from A&A deli in Lincoln Park NJ. The staff amazing. The food amazing (we had a chipotle chicken, a Philly cheesesteak, and a pulled pork empanada; in addition yellow rice and black bean and a cherry empanada for desert). Would recommend this restaurant 100%. Open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday it’s truly a treat for the tastebuds.“

“I love this place. I normally go there in the morning, so this review is pretty much based on the bagels or bagel sandwiches I get. But they are great. The bagels are made there. They're awesome. They make the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches even more delicious. Their coffee is good and the staff is friendly. I can only imagine their Latino food is just as good. Street parking is limited but that's the only thing that is even remotely negative and that's not their fault! I would say if you try them, you won't be disappointed.“

“Excited to eat at Mi Familia Restaurant. The food is Authentic and flavorful! I've been coming here for so many years. As you walk in your are greeted immediately, the staff are very attentive. I was there last week ordered white rice with beans oxtail and barbeque pork spare ribs. Food was delicious!!! Not to mention this is where I get my churrasco (skirt steak) with tostones and freshly squeeze orange juice. Stop by Mi Familia Restaurant and enjoy some Dominican Soul Food!!“

“The chicharones at this location is absolutely the best around the area. My first time there they made sure I was well taken care of. They even went above and beyond by cooking new pieces of pork for me so that they can be fresh. The pieces of pork was just right with the right amount of meat and fat. Usually places I’ve tried had so much fat that I don’t get to enjoy the chicharones but not this location.“

“Great hidden spot for some authentic Colombian food. They have three (3) different dishes of the typical Colombian plate: Bandeja Paisa. Also, it is a BYOB. There is parking onsite. I have not had a bad time here. Everything is delicious and the service is great. Highly recommended.“

The meat was cooked perfectly and super well-seasoned, paired with perfect rice and beans, and delicious sweet plantains. A huge standout was the salad too-it was incredibly fresh and came with a generous amount of avocado. It has that real authentic, home-cooked flavor. I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat“

“I love this place I've been coming since I was 11 and I'm 21 now. I wish they would fix the timing on google maps. I went to the resturant at 8:10pm and it says that today it would be open until 9pm but the front metal shutters were down. I was really anticipating eating here after work just for it to be closed. The food is 10/10 absolutely delicious but it really killed my mood to see it closed almost an hour before it says they'll be closed online.“

“I love ordering from here on weekends! They have a solid account with the eat24 app, which makes ordering really easy. My favorite dish is the pernil (roasted pork), but the res guisada (beef stew) is also delicious. The food is just as good as homemade. Oh, and that banana shake!!. Delicious.“

The only thing I didn't like and this goes to the owner, we ordered some chuchitos and with a plastic fork, the soft drinks in plastic and with a plastic straw, please compatriots, let's cut down on plastic, we are not comfortable and even less lazy, let's help the planet and Reduce plastic, it helps the restaurant look a little taller and more sustainable.“

We went on a February weekday (Wednesday Lunch time) and the place was clean, well decorated for Valentine's. There was a good crowd and I can see that the staff were all busy doing something work related. Our waiter was attentive and although his English was limited , he still made an attempt. The food was good- Bandeja de Paisa never disappoints. I like how this dish is consistent whether I eat it at their Hackensack location or Englewood location. For the first time I tried their calamari. It was good and I like the sweet chili sauce (an homage to my Asian routes haha). Overall a good place to eat!“

“The food at Noches de Colombia is very good, and I have always found the place to be warm and pleasant. That is why it has been one of my favorite restaurants for a long time. However, this time, the experience was not the best because of the service. The waitress, Vanesa, was abrupt from the beginning, and her attitude throughout the service was not friendly, which did not match the quality of the food or the atmosphere of the restaurant. I hope it was just a bad day.“

“The food here is amazing and the price is decent. My favorite is the soup and the fried fish. There is not much parking outside because it’s on the avenue. There is space to eat inside for a small group of 4. The service in taking orders could be better, sometimes the server takes long to get the food out to customers even if you called ahead of time.“
