Great place to eat. You get fresh tortilla chips and salsa as soon as you sit and there’s nothing like fresh warm chips to tame that hunger. The Tostada Grande is highly recommended with a side of guacamole and sour cream.

I tried Jose Tejas because someone suggested it. Being used to TexMex, I wasn't sure if I would like the food, but I did. I got the cheese enchiladas with beans and rice. Not what I'm used to but none the less it was good. The highlight of the meal was actually one of the bartenders, JJ. Best customer service that I have had in many years. As bars become more ordinary and generic, JJ brings back the older days where the bartender has a big influence on the enjoyment of the meal....read full review

When we lived in NJ Jose was always one of our favorite spots.Its been 4 years since we relocated to North Carolina and we made our first stop back,really enjoy their chips and salsa.Had the beef enchiladas along with the really spicy Jose Rice,large portions and tasty,good post pandemic prices along with fast friendly service.
