“I have worked at McDonald’s and tried McDonald’s all over NJ. This is by far the best one ! Food is always hot and fresh this is not a 3.4 star restaurant at this time. It is 5 stars and trust me I always review the McDonalds. Don’t believe me go in and get a fresh hot meal today !“

Especially Brooks, who went above & beyond helping us try decide what to order. I'm not kidding when I say everything looked so good. He kindly gave different suggestions. He took time to explain different options, what they were and how they were made. Any questions or requests we had were met with nothing but kind responses. Will definitely be back!“

Nice ambiance with high ceilings and lights. Very rustic and casual. The hot sauce is really hot so be careful. Should have gone with mild or medium. Mind you i do like hot sauce so when i say hot is hot its really is.. But the sauce had a kick to it.

“The Livingston CARS restaurant was small, but it was clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and chatted with us a little bit before we left. We ordered take-out, and everything was well-packaged and clearly labeled so it was easy to sort out the items for our family members. The food was delicious and filling. “I love a good double Italian hotdog and the best place to get one is here! They have the freshest bread and the food just tastes incredible! They are reasonably priced and give you good portions. The only bad thing is that it's a cash only kind of place, so make sure to bring cash. The next time I near this area, I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!“

“This was the best blizzard I've ever had. All other dairy queens I've been to have made me either wrong blizzards or liquidy blizzards and God forbid they ever flip it as the dairy queen motto says. They brought us the blizzards, flipped it in front of us and they were better tasting than any blizzards I've ever had. The food was fantastic, better than any fast food place I've ever been to. I am astonished by the quality of this place. The only thing I'm disappointed in is that it isn't closer to my house.“

“I place a pick up order and it says it’ll be ready at 8:30. I show up around 8:30 and tell the person in front that I have a pick up order. She just points to the screen and tells me to order. I tell her I had one for pickup and she shakes her head no and tells me to show her. I show her the confirmation on my phone, and she looks confused and goes to the back. She comes back and tells me to wait about 10 minutes. I already paid so I just decide to wait. It definitely took more than 10 minutes and I was just frustrated because how do you not know there’s a pick up order? It wasn’t even busy so I was just confused. I like to give her the benefit of the doubt cuz she probably honestly didn’t see it. It was just kinda inconvenient. The food was actually really good. I’m not too mad about it, just something to point out about my experience.“

“Always friendly and service is good. Food cooked and ready for pickup promptly. I love the board where you can add a sadaqa (charity) meal for someone to eat. You purchase an item on the menu and pin it to the board. When someone comes in who is needy, They just pick a ticket from the board and they can eat. What a novel idea to spread around.“

“Great smash burger. Slight crisp on the outside like a smash burger should but flavorful and moist inside. Their sauce reminded me of Colombian salsa rosada. Yum. Schwarma was delicious. The place was packed and it was still spotless every table clean, the line moved incredibly fast and the food was ready even faster! Hot crispy and delicious! They brought it out to my table asked me if I wanted any sauce, and when I was done I was OFFERED a re fill for the road! This place is beyond 5 stars! You are receiving better than restaurant quality service at fast food prices! I will never visit a different location locally ever, why go somewhere substandard when you have the very best right here! “Had some paperwork to do in downtown and walking by the smells just got me I had to try a sandwich especially since I was in the company of my daughter. We ordered the Roma panini… it was so delicious perfect melt cheese and such a good pesto base , the chicken was so tender. Service was so friendly and inviting, the cashier made sure my coffee was just the way we wanted . Definitely the highlight of our day .“

“Okay, we've been coming to this truck since 2008 or so, when my son was a student at NJIT.I'm going to say that the best food here are the platters, especially the chicken platter; unfortunately my son insisted on the Samosa Tikki Sandwich. It was good, but the platters, with extra white sauce, and a sprinkle of red pepper, is worth the visit. Enjoyed the sandwich. The picture is only a fourth of the sandwich.“

The dark meat was succulent and tender, the breading was perfect, not hard or wasn't heavy, and the flavor with or without gravy was sooo tasty! We'll definitely go back for chicken and to try other items!“

“This place has been around for decades, and their fried chicken is by far the best I’ve had throughout Passaic county. It has a nice spice to it that separates it from others. Their beef patties are also delicious… and you cannot forget to order a burger!

The only concern is the location. They’re located in a dangerous part of Paterson; fortunately, nothing has happened whenever I visited, but always be on alert.“

“What a place with an old time feel! They are on their game, we ordered on the road 10 minutes out and when we showed up our food was waiting for us. After looking around the building, they have a great condiments bar for all your needs! All the employees were working to get people their food and everything from the kitchen that was on the shelf for customers looked awesome! We got cheese burger clubs and some dogs, which were awesome! Bathrooms and everything was very clean and these guys definitely pay attention to detail on everything! In conclusion, all the food we had was great and these guys will see a surge in patronage as word of mouth goes along way. We just stopped in for a quick lunch on coming home from the beach, and the place continued to fill up as we were there! Johnny, Christos, and company are doing a great job and we will be back very often, because their food and menu options are that good! As I am writing, my wife continues to tell me about the food choices available from the Lantern, which is making me hungry as I write this! You boys have a great thing going and keep it up as we will be continuous customers moving forward!
