“I have to preface this with 2 things: my (now) husband and I both were born and raised in NJ before moving to FL and I grew up on Callandra’s at every family function. We couldn’t do the testing for obvious reasons, but I knew the cake would be great. Everyone was amazed when it came out. It was GORGEOUS! I worked with Aisha, who did tell me that the portions were generous. That was an understatement. I don’t think a single guest was able to finish their slices and took them home. The cake itself was the best I have ever had. Even the staff was able to have some.
The only reason I gave 4 stars is because communication in the days before the wedding was nonexistent. Having driven from S. Florida, there was no way to drop the cake topper off without going a few hours out of our way and neither of us were in any shape to drive from Sussex County to Caldwell that Friday. (We also forgot by the time we reached the state being so exhausted). I was told that the top would be left clear if we didn’t have an opportunity to bring the topper in, but we heard nothing about it having been delivered. I had to ask one of the restaurant staff at the reception to make sure it did arrive. Everything else far exceeded anything we hoped.
I can’t recommend this bakery enough for any special occasion (or even a mixed platter/box for family gatherings; just make sure if you have more than one chocolate fiend to buy extra brownies to prevent arguments). The flowers on the table itself were ours.“

“We went to Tuesday flight night and had a wonderful time! Calandra's never disappoints. The pasta, Limoncello, and wine flights were absolutely delicious! Our server Johanna (if I recall correctly) did a great job, not just taking great care of us, but it looked like she had a section where everyone had great service. Towards the end, one of her colleagues assisted with dessert, which was also delicious! We traveled from Ocean County, so it means a lot to travel that far for great food, service, drinks, and an overall fun time! Thank you Calandra's!“

“We went to the store to have a nice breakfast and we had an excellent service, food looked fantastic and was fantastic, also my mom forgot her purse and when we realized and we called to the store, the owner himself was in his way up to our home, that was incredible, we’re very thankful with him, god bless him, of course we’re going back and we’re gonna recommend the store to more people.“
