“Coming here for years. Some food items have gone down in quality, namely the pork chop and mac and cheese. Pork chop used to be really cooked to perfection and moist, however lately it has been dried out and overcooked. Mac and cheese lost the amount of cheese it usually has on it, and noodles were undercooked the previous two times. Must have changed the cooks in kitchen, who knows.“

The Northern Italian menu which changes to focus on only the freshest ingredients has a little Swiss influence and is presented with an artistic touch and personal care. Last evening I hosted sixteen business associates in the back room which has an iron gate for privacy. Filippo presented a five course meal which blew everyone away followed by him playing a few songs on the Piano. The Chicken or Cod dishes were pan seared to perfection. daFilippo's is a BYOB restaurant which I Love. My wife remarked how clean the restrooms are kept. Plenty of parking in the rear of the building. In closing, if you are looking for a family owned, unique restaurant where the owner chef touches every plate to ensure perfection then this is the place to make a reservation.“

“At Luca’s Pizza we just ordered a large cheese pizza to go. It’s amazing! Definitely the best pizza in the middlesex/Piscataway away. Lots of other places we tried just had average so-so pizza but this place is so good the pizza is so cheesy!! Prices were good too. Definitely try this hidden gem!! We only had once slice left to image cuz we ate the whole pie whoops“

In fact, our table was last to receive each course of the meal, and it was just too slow. The bill for 4, with tip, was $650, which is too much to receive such poor service.“

Then the food came out and I was blown away. For the price you pay, I think the quality is phenomenal! I had the Hippie Avo Toast, the staff member suggested adding an egg and it really hit the spot. “My brother and I just had a memorial service for our parents and we went to Espo’s for a luncheon after the church. This place is amazing and Nick the owner treated us like royalty. The food was the best Italian food I’ve had. Nick and his staff made our celebration of life for my parents wonderfully memorable. I live in Colorado, but I will definitely visit Espo’s for a meal next time I’m in Raritan NJ. Thank you Nick“

“My favorite place in town to order pizza from, and get delivery at least once a week. The young staff who takes the orders and usually does the deliveries are very polite and respectful. Prices have been quite reasonable. Food arrives when expected, and without any errors to the order. Most importantly, ordering from Ridge makes for a predictably delicious meal, every time.“

At the end, after waiting almost 30 minutes for someone to come with the check, I waited another 15 minutes to have someone come and pick it up after which I ended up going out and searching how to pay.“
