“I came across Palo de Azucar while I was in Trenton on business. I was looking for a spot where they sold not only quality coffee, but tasty brunch as well. If you're interested or already enjoy Spanish food, this is the place! The quality of coffee did not disappoint, but what stood out most of all was the food. I ordered a Dirty Chai Latte with Oat Milk and a California burger, simply delicious (ask for it cooked at a lower temperature if you like medium!) My mother ordered from the International Treats, and this is by far what took the spotlight for us. We had the Beef Colombian Empanadas and were beyond impressed, from the freshness of the food all the way to each and every flavor of the well-seasoned beef. The empanadas are crunchy/crispy on the outside, and every ingredient on the inside is hot flavorful. The Alcapurrias were a show stopper as well, the outside being fried Yucca and the inside beef. The service was quick, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the prices were comfortable and fair. “The place has good ambiance and a nice outdoor space in the back. The service was quick. It’s a great spot to hang out and catch up with friends. I wouldn’t come here to get any work done however since it gets very busy and seating is somewhat awkward and limited. But the outdoor space is always empty and quiet if you need to knock out some quick work. Unfortunately, coffee here is mild and bland. I got plain macchiato and latte, and unfortunately the Starbucks on whitehorse tastes comparable or better. This is the spot to go if you want to support a small business with interesting flavored drinks and post 2010s millennials IG photos.“

I cannot praise enough how everything is prepared, its all fresh. I suggest not ordering Piyaz because it was always replaced with shepard salad and not hummus...if you catch the drift of wanting beans instead of leaves.... Service is probably better if you speak the language, nonetheless there is always someone there who is experienced with English, I felt welcomed even tho I walked into the smoking lounge which I found cool because it was all men just playing cards or dice and games. I wasnt hushed out of the room, just redirected but it was smokey lol, Atmosphere when I usually order is vacant, the place is off the beaten path but its well worth the take out. Its a family business it seems and they got something good going on, I go tho this place regularly, like once every 2-3 weeks and im happy everytime.“

As a fall aficionado, I decided it was time to visit Dunkin for a fall break! So I tried a pumpkin spice iced chai latte for the very first time today. It's EXTREMELY tastes like FALL. Love it. Contrary to popular belief, pumpkin spice does not have pumpkin in it, it's just the spices that's used to flavor a pumpkin pie. So super creamy, very sweet, with a light hint of spice. Iced Pumpkin Chai Latte was not bad, and it certainly had a fall flavor. Part of this is because chai naturally lends itself to the pumpkin spice season. Dunkin's chai has cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg. It's starting to feel like fall! Pairs well Turkey Egg Cheese sandwich. It’s Fall Y’all 🍂!“
