“I work here at the hospital and use to get my lunch at the hospital cafeteria. One day I stopped here to get a cup of coffee and the great smell hit me. I seen chicken salad wrap was on the board and just had to try it. OMG I no long get my lunch from the hospital cafeteria, which is discounted for employees, I will pay whatever in cost for this great food and terrific customer service by the owner and staff. “This is one of the only reviews I've ever been moved to write in my life, and I tell ya why: Chicken salad is one of those things that is take it or leave it for me 90% of the time--it rarely blows my mind; it's often too sweet or too eccentric. But when I ordered the Harper (BLT + chicken salad) on a sun dried tomato bagel from Moore Bagels, I may have shed a tear; it is PERFECT. The chicken salad is savory (as is their Waldorf version despite the addition of nuts and crans), appropriately salted, and exactly the right consistency. Add in the bacon that they fry up right there, which is thick and crispy, and you have yourself a triumph. I'm not kidding, I go OUT OF MY WAY to go to this place (I'm not a local). Oh oh OH! ANDDD!!! If you order an iced coffee, they pull COFFEE ICED CUBES FROM THE BACK SO THAT YOUR COFFEE IS NEVER WATERED DOWN! I mean...guys...get yourself over here. You will not regret it.“
“The Irish Cream latte was delicious. I tried the Czech chicken salad and it was good. A very different salad experience with peas and pineapple. My daughter had a tiramisu donut which was amazing. Taking our coffee to go we wandered through the attached antique store and it was a great outing for us.“
“Uhg, I took my husband for hand surgery at Virtue. Luckly for me, I found this comfy place away from the hospital. I sat listening to some Jack Johnson and like music while watching the snowy ❄️ weather outside. My bagel was great and so was my latte ☕️. So awesome, it really helped this miserable day feel more pleasant. Not gonna lie though, still can't wait for spring. ?“
