On the rare occasion I go inside, the store is clean and well-kept, which matters more than people think for a quick stop. I don’t usually order food, but when I have, it’s been fresh and exactly what you’d expect.

“I came across Palo de Azucar while I was in Trenton on business. I was looking for a spot where they sold not only quality coffee, but tasty brunch as well. If you're interested or already enjoy Spanish food, this is the place! The quality of coffee did not disappoint, but what stood out most of all was the food. I ordered a Dirty Chai Latte with Oat Milk and a California burger, simply delicious (ask for it cooked at a lower temperature if you like medium!) My mother ordered from the International Treats, and this is by far what took the spotlight for us. We had the Beef Colombian Empanadas and were beyond impressed, from the freshness of the food all the way to each and every flavor of the well-seasoned beef. The empanadas are crunchy/crispy on the outside, and every ingredient on the inside is hot flavorful. The Alcapurrias were a show stopper as well, the outside being fried Yucca and the inside beef. The service was quick, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the prices were comfortable and fair. “I love this Dunkin and pass by most Saturdays as my toddler’s occupational therapist is 3 minutes away. They move the drive thru line very quickly with a smile, and they never mess up. My toddler’s glazed munchkins are always fresh and this is the only place I’ll occasionally get wake up wraps bc their food doesn’t taste like plastic. They’re cleaning their machines well, which isn’t something I can say for other locations. And, who doesn’t like getting greeted by a screen!“

I have genuinely never met someone in customer service quite like her. She somehow manages to make every single interaction feel warm, even when the line is wrapped around the building. She remembers me, greets me with the kindest eyes, and always has something nice to say. And I know that probably sounds dramatic for someone handing me coffee…but it really does make a difference.

She has this way about her that almost makes you want to protect her? Like selfishly, I hope she never leaves because she makes this Starbucks what it is..but at the same time I find myself wondering if she’s still here because I know someone as wonderful as her deserves every opportunity that comes her way. She really is one of those people you don’t forget.

But I also don’t want this review to just be about Ria because she’s a reflection of the team around her…Everyone here is so genuinely kind and welcoming. She is just the bright star that I happen to interact with the most at the store

“I have been coming to this dunkin for over two years now. Overall, the staff is pretty friendly with the exception of a couple experiences I’ve had. I will say that they need to be more careful with handling money/cards. I’ve had at least 3-4 experiences where I get either the wrong change back, no change, or they didn’t give me my card back, making it so I have to go back.“

“It’s pretty good to be honest. I actually live near Dunkin’ Donuts, so I go there a lot. This location makes a lot of mistakes. And mixed up a lot of orders. One time I asked for a bacon, egg and cheese croissant but instead of the croissant they put bagel. The drinks are pretty okay. And the food I guess is pretty okay too. For the donuts, one time I came to this location and when I just finished ordering I saw many flies and mosquitoes around the donuts, pretty nasty. And yeah that’s all.“
