“At first glance it seems like a regular acai shop but it was so much more. When I first walked in, the vibe and atmosphere was so friendly and beachy which I absolutely loved! The walls were painted blue and there were painted palm trees. There were surfboards hung up on walls and on the ceiling (as decor obviously) and the menu was a super cool chalkboard with several different colors. There were so many options to choose off of the menu and you can even mix 2 bases if you cant pick. The available bases I can remember are acai, pitaya, chia pudding, kale, mango, coconut, and oatmeal (theres probably tons more!). I always go at least once a week to this place because it's THAT good! I have never tried something I didn't like. My go-to order is the 8th Ave Acai Bowl and the Flamingo Bowl (Pitaya Base) because they are just soooo good! They put granola at the bottom, then the base, then MORE GRANOLA, and bananas on top. The best thing though is the honey that they drizzle on top at the end. You can even buy their honey and granola separately for yourself to put it on whatever you'd like! The service is awesomd as well! They are so nice and helpful and they always make you feel welcome. The prices are a bit high for bowls but they're soooo worth it.“

“Greenlife has a foundation in the old-time health store from the 70's. Staff know how to answer questions and can advise on some of the best items to help customers. Wednesdays are $ 1:00 for a shot of wheat grass, can't be better. They also sell Cabbage juice in a glass container; other health stores had no idea of this product.“

“I love me a good AÇAI bowl and this place is really nailing it. Really friendly service, clean accessible location with parking, high tech seamless checkout, interesting menu. Now to the bowl. Their granola branded as SoulNola is really another level of deliciousness. It has a chewy sweet almost molasses like quality that’s awesome. “I have been a regular customer at The Juice House for years. It's such a nostalgic place for me personally and I know it means a lot to the local community as well - truly a staple of downtown Garwood. The ambiance is very modern and trendy with lots of seating options to enjoy your food in-store. There's also lots of outdoor seating, though not the most relaxing option because it's along a busy road/intersection. When I'm not with friends, I usually take my food to go, which is always a quick and easy process. I can easily say that The Juice House makes the best bowls (acai, pitaya, coconut, banana - you name it)! What really sets JH apart is their organic GRAWNOLA - it's so tasty and soft. The bowls have the perfect proportions of base, GRAWNOLA, and toppings, so every bite is flavorful. My go-to order is the Chocoberry Acai Bowl with honey, which truly hits the spot every time. Some other favorites are the CocoNutter Coconut Bowl and the JH Acai Bowl, but you truly cannot go wrong with whatever you order! The Juice House employees are always friendly and helpful, and the owner, Arielle, is extremely front-facing and responsive - so awesome! It's been so great watching their journey from the beginning, especially now that they're franchising. And throughout those years, the food has stayed consistently amazing. “PROS:- This place makes their bases (which they have numerous kinds of) right in front of you. It's not premade like Frutta Bowls or Playa Bowls. So you can customize it completely.- The portions are HUGE especially compared to Frutta Bowls. I much rather have more of the base (which is difficult to make at home) than the slices of fruit on top (which is easy to do at home).- Krystina and Shanel made our bowls and were so warm and patient -- explaining all of their options and even giving us free samples of their sugar free peanut butter which they grind right in front of you (this was the topping we chose -- highly recommend).- They even have a BOGO on Wednesdays if you use the app. You can bet we will be there again this week for it.CONS:- Acai bowls in general are not cheap. But I've made many acai bowls myself at home, and those 100% acai packets from Trader Joe's are a pain to open and work with. After a hearty dinner at home, we couldn't resist the temptation for dessert, especially after hearing so much about their mango delights. “Always a pleasant time! I have been in this location several times, and always have fun with the kids and manager working there. Not sure why a few people here have complaints, I guess they don't remember their first jobs when they were younger? Perhaps they just grew up spoiled and didn't need to learn the valuable lessons one gets from putting in hard work and dealing with a not-always-friendly public? They have a sandwich and wrap station , taco station , pizza station , a fresh salad and bowl station and fruits and desserts. There’s plenty of chips and drinks to choose from. This is a great lunch spot. I had a “Livingston” pizza which had bacon, pineapple , and Gorgonzola cheese and it was real delicious. I also tried an “Essex” sandwich which was chicken cutlet , spicy ranch and tomato on Focaccia bread toasted nicely in the oven. Relaxed atmosphere with plenty of seating. “Had this delivered to work at my coworker's suggestion. It arrived on schedule and our three orders were packed neatly. There are tons of vegan/vegetarian options on this menu! I had the vegan Nashville hot chicken, add red onion and drizzled onion, on a whole wheat wrap. It was satisfying but not too heavy. The sauce has a nice spice to it. My friends also loved their buffalo poppers, falafel salad, and zucchini sticks.“

The roasted garlic onion jam gave it a ton of flavor and the jalapeno toast added just the right amount of heat. Service was friendly and accommodating, and the seating area was bright and clean. I need to come back to try the avocado toast with an egg soon!“

It seems like they have really good regulars that came in while I was there; they were identified by first name basis. I love that. Pro-Tip: if you want to know the food specials for the day, check out their story on IG. I ordered the chicken congee, loh mai gai/sticky rice in lotus leaf, chicken laksa, & the clay pot meat with rice. My favorite was the clay pot & the crunchy pieces of rice in it. Yums. It did take 20 mins to cook bc it's a "made to order" meal. The laksa was packed with flavor & gave my mother's laksa a run for her money. I lasted ordered a matcha tea & a Thai milk tea. I didn't care for the drinks but I have a feeling the other drinks there are better like the create your owns. Cons: hard to find parking at a busy time. They are closed Sun, Mon, Tues. “Small tea shop that also serves decent fried chicken. There isn’t much room so it’s better to take it to go. The food is decent but the tea is much better. They have many flavors and options to choose from. Chicken was ok. I got the spicy one but there wasn’t much spice behind it. However it was very fresh and hot temperature wise. Having curly fries as an option was really cool and nostalgic. I’d come back for the tea for sure especially when it gets warmer in the spring and summer.“
