“From price quote, to cake pickup, to eating I had a phenomenal experience. I splurged for my 30th birthday for a custom cake. La Bon was affordable for what I wanted which was amazing. Their staff was incredibly sweet, professional, and all around pleasant. And the cake? Oh my God. I couldn't ask for a better outcome. I provided a reference photo and the result was an exact match. Flavor wise? Impeccable. I don't know what it is about these cakes but it was hands down the best cake I've ever had in my life. It was decadent but not too sweet (especially with black frosting, I was pleasantly surprised), perfectly piped frosting, and perfectly light and flavorful strawberries and cream filling. I will 100% be trusting all my future cakes to la bon from now on!“

“This weekend we celebrated by grandson's 3rd b'day in NYC. This was the 4th or5th event Ligia and her team created for us. Each and every time it exceeds our expectations. “I have tried the tres leches in various flavors and had a Dominican cake made to order. It is the most authentic Dominican cake I have had in a long while! Delicious! The shop is always well stocked and they are well organized and friendly. Highly recommend!“
