“Today was Our first time at Pondrelli’s … honestly from the second we walked in Luigi was so warm and welcoming he even went over every slice and sandwich with my daughter and I. Which was amazing because I didn’t feel forced to choose something quickly like you do at most places. While we waited Luigi and Anthony both hung out and talked to my daughter and I. (We frequent pizzerias often and NO ONE does that.) They are very down to earth and nice people. Lol Even as we walked out my 10 year old was like that was super cool of them. “Pies Place is the best! I have been meaning to leave a review after my son’s birthday party. We ordered a ton of food and had to decrease our order by a lot last minute because of this spring weather. Our party was rained out so we didn’t really need anything. Chris was incredibly sweet and stated although they started making some of our order he would donate what we didn’t need. “Super nice employees, out of all the pizza on LBI this takes the cake. This pizza tastes and is on par with NYC styles. I’m from Long Island and honestly just as good! They have Dr Pepper and also tons of nice sauces like Valentina and tajin which are the best toppings for pizza if you love spice like me. Give this man your business, I will be back every time I’m on LBI! Such a great vibe, true beach town feel place without sacrificing quality or being fake. Nice view outside of the restaurant of the bay. Unlike the other pizza places on LBI this place has slices! Every other place gave me a face if I ask if they did buffalo slices! “My 3 year old is autistic and will only eat certain foods which are usually chicken fingers and fries, I recently ordered myself penne in vodka sauce with chicken and to my absolute surprise my son tried a piece of the pasta and ate a whole bowl!! The food is always so flavorful and delicious! Our favorite pizza so far is the Lucy Special! The bread is so light and soft and the meatballs are to die for!! I’ve lived in manahawkin for 3 years and you guys are always our first place to recommend and order from! Their desserts always taste so fresh and those cannolis and cheesecake are to die for!!!! “Kept driving by this place and finally got to try it out last week. As a Chicago native, I can tell you this is what I've been looking for the past 3 years of living here. The crust does not explode in your mouth like a bunch of tiny little splinters, it's softer and doughy. The ingredients and cheese are not skimped out on either, they are fresh ingredients and plentiful at that. The only thing I would change is more sauce, but I can do that myself next order on my own. Leftovers microwaved is a no go but air fried it's just like it came out of the oven all over again. In a Jersey full of Luigi's, pick Marios, you won't be disappointed. I suggest adding the wings into your order as well, best take out wings I've had from a pizza shop, super crispy breading and juicy interior.“

“Was dying to try the Detroit pie after seeing the photos in the print ad/menu, and it was delicious! The guy who took my order was so sweet, too, offering great feedback and explanations of the items. Delivery was quick for a Friday night, too.
Now, onto the star of the review: the pizza! The Detroit was delicious - the sauce, cheese and dough were all really good. Price was a bit high but really good pizza and would definitely order again!“

“I have been going to Marchioni’s for years! Actually the first restaurant I fell in love with from moving from California way back in the day. The chicken Marsala was always my go to favorite and now it’s my sons! My husband loves the homemade stuffed shells and now I’m in love with the salmon piccata and the pizza is always perfect! Yum, now I am thinking about it that’s going to be dinner tonight! The owners are amazing and so is the staff, one thing that stands out is the customer service, I recently came to pick up my order and the driver noticed I forgot my bag with salads and brought it to my house without me prompting it ( didn’t even know it was missing yet- and then it hit me to leave this long way overdue review) He made it to my house before I did! I really love love love Marchionis for the food but also for the amazing people making it all happen! Thankful to have them in our community! Andiamo Mangia!“
