“First time to this restaurant. I had the General Tso's chicken and Egg Drop soup. The food was fantastic, and very tasty!.. all the vegetables were done perfectly with just enough snap when you bit into them. The egg drop soup was soothing and delicious!. I couldn't believe the price. very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back!..“

“Came here for a quick, Sunday homestyle breakfast and was not disappointed at all. The atmosphere is unique, to say the least, but also gives a lot to start conversations amongst the table. Serving portions were superb and food was very tasty. I have seen other comments and reviews that were very negative and nasty, but everybody can have a bad day once in a while. They were complaining on the service and owner/waiter being rude and yelling. I've seen more positive ratings than negative ones. While not everybody has the same humor, people can definitely be some Debbie downers. All in all, we had a nice experience and enjoyed the food. Ihop who?? Lol will def be back!!!“

“Black Eyed Susans is one of our absolute favorite restaurants on LBI, and it keeps us coming back every time we’re on the island.

One of the best things to come out of COVID was the addition of the outdoor patio. We love sitting outside, especially on a beautiful summer evening. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and perfectly captures the spirit of LBI.

The service is always exceptional. The staff is friendly, attentive, and consistently makes us feel like valued guests.

If you’re a wine lover, don’t miss Wine Wednesdays. Half-price bottles make an already great wine list even better. The selection is excellent, the pricing is fair, and it adds tremendous value to an already outstanding dining experience.

I also have to give a shoutout to their mini martinis. I have no idea why more restaurants don’t offer them. They’re the perfect size, let you try different cocktails throughout the meal, and make for a fun dining experience.

As for the food, I’ve tried just about everything on the menu and have never had a bad dish. The sourdough bread is fantastic, and my wife, who considers herself a true french fry connoisseur, swears they are the best french fries in the United States.

When you combine the quality of the food, the outstanding service, the wine program, the mini martinis, and the atmosphere, Black Eyed Susans delivers an incredible experience at a very fair price. It’s a place we look forward to visiting every time we’re back on LBI.“

Without, $86 and change but then a service fee for ordering on line so it came to $96! Stupid ridiculous! We all fell on hard times…businesses will lose more customers if they keep this nonsense up. “I had my first visit to Birdy’s two years ago and became a fan on day one. The atmosphere is tranquil, something I savor, and the food is delicious. The avocado toast is a star, the lobster roll is filled with large pieces of lobster and the fresh lemonade hits the mark. My favorite is the BLT on sour dough bread- simple perfection. I have introduced Birdy’s to my daughters and we consider it our “go to” for a “ladies only “ brunch.“

“My daughter and her husband had their wedding reception at the Daymark on 10/27/2018. There was a nor’easter the night before into Saturday morning. There was flooding everywhere! Management and staff did an incredible job rearranging the room since we had to change the wedding ceremony to inside, instead of at the Lighthouse. The food and staff made it a memorable night. “Food was a bit cold. Went to drive-thru , said my name and was told to pull up. We sat there for about 10 min. Was almost given wrong order. Whole time, food was ready! The tacos were cold, rest was ok. May try again, but if same experience, we're done.“

“There are numerous ice cream stores in New Jersey.Coney Waffle is hands down the best my family has been to.The ice cream is delicious with an endless choice of flavors. So many different variations for cakes! Store very clean and staff is friendly.“
