“The hummus was amazing! The dips have barcodes but nothing was scanned. We were told that small containers were $6 and large $9. The staff seemed nice so I don’t think we were overcharged but we’ve been up charged at certain places so we were just a little weary. We definitely stood out but staff was nice and the hummus makes you want to come back. The pastries did have prices so we tried the babka. They also have a chalkboard menu of items to order.“

“My husband and I came across this place when we drove past it last week after running errands. I said to him that we need to try this. We decided to come tonight and I have to say. We had the best experience! When we walked in my first thought was this place is so clean and the environment was so amazing. We each created our own Poke Bowl and had the brown sugar milk tea. The people behind the counter were very nice. The woman who made the bowls was very sweet. She explained how the bowls were made and answered our questions. The Poke Bowls were absolutely delicious! Everything was very fresh and you got alot for the price. The tea was not sweet like the woman stated. And it was very good to drink with the bubbles. This place was so amazing that we decided we are not only going to keep coming back. We decided to change our original plans for Valentines Day and we will be coming here instead! “After a very long day, I came in get a bite to eat before I went back to traveling. The food is delicious. The staff is incredible. They will go the extra mile for you (literally). After ordering and eating entirely too much delicious food the couple who owns the restaurant gave me a ride to the bus station. “My husband and I could not decide on what to eat for dinner since it was late. Decided to try Sweet Berry bowls in Glen Rock. We have lived in Hawthorne for 8 years and have passed this place so many times, so glad we stopped in tonight. We were greeted by Samantha and Rubby, they recommended some bowls and they were delicious!!! They both were extremely helpful and kind. “We have ordered from Frank's numerous times with no issues. Tonight, driver arrived with 2 items missing and instead of leaving the items he had, took them with him....cold when he returned. Must have thought he was an Indy car driver on the way back because all the sauce for the mussels was gone, box was saturated. When questioned, he checked and said Ooops, sorry, and left. Called and spoke with the Manager who seemed less than Customer Service concerned although did offer another order of mussels. Unfortunately, with the fear of sabotage on the replacement due to complaining, we declined. Should have offered some kind of refund. As a Client Svc Mgr this is an unacceptable response to a dissatisfied client. We will not be ordering from Frank's again. I guess they have enough clients to not care about EVERY client. Shame!“

“I come here every once in a while. It's quite nice, the food is really good and reasonably priced. They also have a nice selection of gluten-free menu options. I'm not gluten-free, but recently, it's been something I look out for and notice because I love someone who is Celiac. Most recently, I came for my birthday, and they were able to modify items on the menu to custom create what I was looking for! (always a plus)

“I went there with my 2 sisters and their husbands for dinner. The dining area was very inviting. We got a table by the window which was nice but as the crowd grew the noise level got really bad. The service was good and the waiter knew his stuff. The portions are large but the shrimps were cold and my med rare lamb was well done. We sent the shrimp back to reheat. The funny thing was that as soon as my wife lifted her plate the waiter said , oh not hot enough. Did overall was just okay. Desert menu was small but okay. Not a I’m running back restaurant“

“We have been to Made in Italy many times during all of the ownership changes. We have been for dinner, had graduation parties and gone for dessert only. We were so happy to hear that it was open at night again. My husband recently had knee replacement and was itching to get out. We decided to go for coffee/dessert at Made in Italy. He struggled to get in the car and out when we arrived. It was 8:30 Saturday night when they close at 10. There were over 15 tables open - we asked to be seated for coffee and dessert only to be told they don’t do that. They wouldn’t seat us - they gave us their card and told us to check the menu when we got home- which we did. The second paragraph of the website says - stop by just to have a cup of our gourmet coffee. They had many tables open and preferred to turn us away. Needless to say - we will not be going back.“

“Our family and friends had dinner at Fino Christmas Eve. If I could give them 10 stars I would. They were totally booked, yet service was fabulous. The waiters worked together as if each movement was rehearsed. The food came out with perfect timing and each dish was outstanding. This was not our first time at Fino. Every time we have dined there has been a wonderful experience. If you want an outstanding dining experience, I suggest Fino. The food is wonderful, and all the waiters have great personalities and are truly a professional team.“
