“Hands down the best hole-in-the-wall restaurant I’ve ever been to! You walk into what feels like a cozy dive bar, but when you ask to sit in the dining room, they take you through the kitchen to the back—and wow, it’s like stepping into a hidden gem packed with memorabilia everywhere you look. I didn’t even know where to start taking it all in!
The owner personally went around to every table, greeting everyone and chatting with us about the history of the place—which alone deserves 10 stars. Every single dish we tried was absolutely fantastic. The baked clams were massive, and the garlic clams in that buttery garlic sauce? I could honestly drink it with a spoon. Then came the steaks—perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth delicious.
To top it all off, the chef came out to greet everyone too and asked how everything was. It’s such a rare touch that made us feel like family, like we’d been regulars for years. And for the kids—there’s even a fun little scavenger hunt, which is such a cute idea!
If I could give Charlie Bloods 20 stars, I would. This place is full of heart, history, and seriously good food. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“Relaxed atmosphere and great food.
Stopped in for Brunch on Sunday morning. Relaxed environment and pace of the meal, but temperature was a bit stuffy and warm.
Food was on point. Ordered Benedict, Omlette, Pancakes, and some lunch items. Fantastic gnocchi as well.“

“DDOBAR is the definition of a hidden gem! Tucked away inside Olly Olly Market, this concept comes from the talented team behind the Michelin-starred Joomak Banjum. The $55 set menu is an unbelievable steal, offering value that far surpasses the price point. It’s a massive bargain and worth far more than what’s cost. The food quality was superb, with thoughtful seasoning and presentation that truly hit the spot.
Charcoal 🐶 also enjoyed here since olly olly market is dog friendly! We’ll definitely be back for the main chef tasting set“

“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food. The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“
“We popped in here at an odd hour as we were headed to the New York City comedy club. Rebecca served us drinks and we had such a grand time! The place clean and decorated for Halloween and Rebecca was a blast to hang out with. We would definitely go back here and would love to try their food.
Give them a try as we thought this was one of the better bars that we visited in New York City. The wait staff makes all the difference in the world! Go Rebecca!“

The specialty cocktails were tasty and the staff friendly. The ambience is great and you should definitely stay to watch the burlesque show!“

“A gorgeous little bar and restaurant right by Columbus Circle, with a lively atmosphere and fantastic oysters. The cherry basil limeade was a little herbal for my taste, but the bartender accommodated me with a little grenadine. I wish I was in town longer, because I would absolutely go back again.“

“Great addition to the neighborhood. It's a good neighborhood place for a cocktail. In the pantheon of cocktail bars in NY, it's not something I'd travel out of my way for but every neighborhood needs a watering hole like this, especially with the beer choices next door.
Great service (drinks brought to the table!!) and great happy hour.“

“Nice place to meet up with friends. more of a bar with appeti, ets feel. Didnt have drinks. The dumplings were good, most of the food seemed to be healthy or vegan...not really my thing. atmosphere was good. It was a friday evening around 8-9:00 so understandable that service was a little slow“

“Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a quick drink with some friends. Had no issues getting a spot right at the bar and woman behind the taps was not only funny, but very helpful and attentive and is really the reason I liked the place so much! The place has great drink specials for happy hour, and besides the price they are also well made. Didn't get the chance to try the food, but I sure was tempted with everyone ordering around us what seemed like really some good classic pub food. If I'm ever around the area, I'm definitely inclined to come back and try more.“

“An incredible selection of beers, both draft and cans/bottles. The owner is very knowledgeable about what they carry. There is a simple menu of grilled cheese sandwiches and different types of dogs, but they are so good, especially after a few aforementioned beers. An easy way to spend an afternoon. Lots of beers that refer to cats.“

“Best bar in Chelsea!
Couldn’t recommend a better spot for a drink during happy hour or late night or to rent out for a private party. Barry and the whole staff are excellent and so easy/ responsive to work with.
I’ve had two private parties here now and both have been top-notch. The one last weekend had ~80 people in the side room and was a great time. Barry and his team made sure all ran smoothly.
Great drinks, vibes and people!“

“Come for the trivia stay because it's a really awesome place to be. E's Bar is preeeetttty awesome and quite a good size to be able to have a good time! The drinks are reasonably priced and the Tres Fish Tacos are BOMB. I appreciate the fact that they choose to be a sustainable bar with their LED lighting and purchasing of carbon offsets. It's hard for bars to reduce their environmental impact so any step matters. It always seems like everyone's having a good time here- not trashy at all, just a good neighborhood bar. And they have theme nights too which is fun.“

“We reserved a table by the window, with the condition that we’d order from the three-course menu. The atmosphere was pleasant, and our server was very kind — thank you for the great service! The lobster dish was especially impressive, and the dessert, beautifully presented in the shape of an egg, was absolutely wonderful.“
