“Located north of Radio city hall, there seems to be a new competitor coming up for Adel's famous halal. This place is run by Afghans and they are really warm and welcoming people to their food truck also the service is quick while the food is served hot and fresh.After reading some reviews here, I opted for a chicken chapli kebab platter. Chapli kebab is basically a ethnic Pashtun dish from the border region of Afghanistan-Pakistan. The minced chicken was good while adding the right amount of spices to give a succulent taste, for the first time, I had cumin rice and it tasted good and was a welcome change from the regular saffron rice available elsewhere. These people provided fries alongside salad and topped it with white sauce which had the right amount of thickness while their mint sauce was a welcome addition to this. I don't usually go for the spicy sauce as I'm not a big fan of it.Overall it's a great experience to try something for the first time apart from halal guys and adel's. The big advantage of the food is that it lacks food coloring like adel's and whatever prepared is done in the right way while also the wait time is very less compared to adel's and halal guys.“

They have the pastor tacos in the traditional rotating-roster, and they were delish! From the convenient user-friendly website ordering system, payment system, and seamless correspondence with Polkadot Cake Shop, I knew I was working with a true pro. I purchased the chicken over rice platter and not only are the flavors rich and savory, but they add on more that most halal carts don't do. The guy taking the order got my order wrong (for the better by not giving me chicken but only lamb) and ended up taking an extra $1 cash from me (after the extra white sauce), since he did not understand giving a $20 for 2 plates + extra sauce costs $9 x 2 + $1 = $19 (but whatever, it’s ok if the food is worth it).Chicken is definitely worth sleeping on but the lamb gyro is a show stopper! You can go with either rice (I took spicy but my wife took the regular yellow) and both were fantastic! I will come back just for the lamb over rice (and will make sure I give the exact cash to prevent them from breaking full bills where they do miscalculations, lol)… Note: line is still 45 minutes long at the minimum but after a delicious meal, you can go across the street and get some magnolia bakery.“

“I was really hungry, but when I went to the 74st cafe at Fairway, I only saw the breakfast menu, and I wanted lunch. Turns out they did have lunch, but I was already downstairs. Remembered seeing this food truck, and I do love Mexican food. There's a ton of choices, and I decided to try the Cubana torta. It's HUGE. It's definitely a different take on a Cuban. There were beans, tiny cubes of crispy pork, ham, cheese, jalapeños, no pickles, I think some avocado, and lettuce. It was delicious. I could only finish HALF after discarding the top piece of bread. The truck was staffed by a smiling, friendly woman, whose English is somewhat limited, but adequate for understanding food questions. We managed just fine. The truck has an A rating, and I plan to go back for a quesadilla or some tacos. So glad that this truck is in the neighborhood :) I can't eat pizza ALL the time.“
