“My girlfriend and myself, retired Philadelphia Police Officers were going on a cruise on 9/12/24 out of Cape Liberty. We arrived early and were looking for a cup of coffee and a quick breakfast. Luckily we picked Une Tasse Cafe, the coffee was fantastic and the breakfast wraps and pastries were delicious. The owner was warm and welcoming and introduced us to her dog, who actually let me pet him. I wish this restaurant was closer to where we live, coffee that good is hard to find. I just ordered two pounds on their web site so that I can enjoy it at home. Hopefully on our next cruise we will stop there again.“

Sankofa has become of hub of the community, often hosting social and cultural events, in addition to participating in community outreach in support of many causes.
The owner, Jessica Troupe, has poured her heart and soul into this cafe, and it shows. It is one of the best coffee shop in the area.“

“This is one of the most beautiful places around! Sagar puts his heart into this place. It's an oasis in Passaic! Come check it out- for a date, or to meet someone or to just chill. He also rents for special occasions- I've even seen small weddings here! Highly highly recommended. Kosher ice cream and snacks as well. Take your wife or date here! In winter, roaring fire inside. I just love it here. Sitting outside and seeing the beauty around me right now. Tranquil....just awesome. Great place to work from as well.“

“Just wanted to take a moment and personally thank Ari, Michelle, and Meleh for such amazing and quality service — I come here to WFH almost daily and have always been met with such kindness, warmth and quick service. These girls make my morning so much brighter, in combination with a wonderful ambiance and WFH set up, this is the place to go to!!! Thank you girls for all you do!!! Despite a high volume of customers, they always make sure the wait lines are quick and my time here is seamless!! “The staff is so welcoming and friendly. Upon my second visit to the cafe, the baristas recognized me and welcomed me back! They were very kind to recommend some pastries and drinks. The chef was also very kind when I interacted with him in the dining room while he was running food. The space is great—four booth and chair two tops, plus four window counter seats and two two tops outside on the sidewalk. Very popular place with a lot of foot traffic. The iced mocha is great, as is the latte. Looking forward to trying more specialty drinks. They let my bring my dog in while I was ordering. The next day, I brought my computer to write for a bit and ordered brunch. Nice neighborhood spot!!“

“What a great place! Passed by here once and our daughter’s name is Madison so I thought it would be fun to try out. Made a reservation for Mother’s Day, probably not the best day to try a new place. We showed up for our 12:15 reservations and despite the mob scene outside, our table was waiting. The food and service were spectacular on a busy day. I can’t wait to come back on a normal day. I had the cauliflower tacos. Amazing, as good as they look in the picture. Wife and daughter had omelettes with salad and potatoes. Neither could finish! Not sure if I can post photos“

“I live in the area and attend college out of town so getting to the library on my off days is tough. I've been looking for a place with a chill ambiance, wifi, good tea, and coffee. Well, look no more for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Great rustic look, comfy seating with back support, loads of outlets for laptops, and the second-floor space are super cute and cozy too. Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans. I totally recommend this place if you have similar needs or just want to hang out with some friends. I will surely be going back.“

“Melanie did an AMAZING job on my sister's Game of Thrones themed couple shower. I had some ideas but she really took what I said and made my ideas into something more. Not only did everything look great, the desserts tasted wonderful too. I highly recommend her and Jamm Events and will use her again.“
