“It's an above-average deli, but they try to jam too many tables into the terrace area. You have so little space that it really affects your eating experience, and that's especially annoying when prices are so high. The baked items are good, not great (huge portions though); the herring in cream sauce is truly excellent.“

“Thanks for making this page and continuously following the case until justice was served and Kane was safely returned home. Cats are often overlooked and underreported on in these types of crimes but you made sure no one forgot what happened to him. You make Saratoga a better place!“

“MY FRIENNNNNNNND! The food is always great. The service is always even better. Despite being always busy during lunch wait times are never longer than 10-15 minutes max. I always look forward to doing work at the aquarium just so that I can have lunch at Bain’s.“

“Got a turkey and provolone on a sesame roll. By far the best sandwich I have had in years. My girlfriend and I always talk about this place when we talk about Philly. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the employees (one of which I assume is joe) are super nice and very inviting. If I'm back in Philly, I will definitely be visiting here again.“

“Memphis Market is a great place to grab a quick inexpensive breakfast sandwich, cheese steak, pizza pretzels, and most other corner store needs. 95%of the staff is absolutely amazing. I've only had an issue with 1 person there on 3 occasions(out of maybe 500 trips there) and it wasn't a personal issue, just a matter of a woman smoking 2x while too close to the food, inside the store, and 1 other time when she was talking about a some pretty gross subject to another worker,(not much grosses me out, but this absolutely did) which made me cancel my order. She normally works (worked) early AM. Not sure if she is even still employed, but I usually go after lunch these days.“

“I’m a 78 year old lifelong hoagie eater. Nicks is hands down the best. And the Chicken cutlet sandwiches are out of this world. If you don’t like the various cutlet sandwiches I will pay for them. They are great with great Aversa bread“

“The large sandwich is bursting with flavor and completely share. I got a small and hubby got the large and neither of us finished.
Wonderful owners more than willing to help you firm up a decision on what to get. I’m stuffed with Gooey goodness.
The patio seating on a wonderful 75° weather day was an added bonus .“

“First of all, very kind and genuine staff. Delicious food and an insane beer selection. Grab and go fruit, kimchi and other snacks. Peaceful spot to eat-in and sip a beverage for lunch. Once asked if they could stock a six-pack of a particular beer and it was on the shelves 2 days later. Grilled chicken club on multigrain bread always hits! My favorite deli in the city“

“The Philly Cheesesteak I ordered here is probably the best I’ve ever had in this city. At first I thought maybe it was just a one off, but I stopped here a few times to grab a Philly Cheesesteak and it was still as good as the first time I’ve stopped here. Definitely better than Uncle Gus’ Steaks in Reading Terminal Market.
My only regret is coming here and discovering that nobody outside of Philadelphia can make a good Cheesesteak!“

“My go to spot for sure! Have almost everything I need & great sandwiches . If I ever mention them not having something I need, it’s there next time I pop in.
Only complaint (if any) is that they don’t take credit cards. And sometimes get backed up during lunch since they are so popular.“

“My first time here was today shortly after they opened. Searched Italian delis in S. Philly, Antonio's got great reviews so it was an easy pick. I got the chk. cutlet sandwich with pepper cheese, long hots & hot pepper spread. Delicious...just a very good sandwich. Definitely gonna check out other menu items in the future.“

“Wow, I stumbled across this place by accident heading to the CVS across the street.
This has now become my favorite sandwich shop. The staff are super friendly and treat you like family as soon as you walk in the door. You get friendly hellos, an actual name from the employee and let me know when your ready.
I ordered the spicy beef hoagie with black pepper cooper sharp. The beef is amazingly tender and flavorful and I've never seen that cheese anywhere else. But the same could be said for a lot of thier meats and cheeses. Where else do you find a beef tounge sandwich or roasted garlic and horseradish cheddar.
Once you order your food and move to the back to wait for it you are presented with a non stop buffet of meat and cheese slices from the sandwich chefs. They hand out generous samples of every meat and cheese that hits the cutting machine for other orders while your waiting.
I was already stuffed by the time I got my sandwich.
For great customer service, amazing samples and a variety that you would usually have to hit multiple shops for Koch's is the place to go. Bring your appetite and they'll handle the rest.“

“Great lunch counter. I had the corned beef on rye special. The meat was sliced paper thin, piled high with cole slaw and Russian dressing as a rye bread sandwich, served with Goods potato chips and a drink, I chose Coke 0. The server was attentive and the food was prepared quickly. Very tasty. Will eat here again when I'm in Center City.“

“The workers are very nice and I think for a small store I usually can find what I need. Prices aren't bad at all either. I'm getting breakfast for the first time today and will add to my review after I am done eating it. VERY VERY convenient little store...?Natalie Bertotti..“

“Perfect little hole-in-the-wall breakfast spot. Counter-serve with about 10 two-top tables. Very reasonable prices. It’s almost like they haven’t gotten the memo that everything is really expensive all of a sudden. Delightful Korean ladies taking orders and delivering food to the tables. Great for quick in-and-out breakfast on the way to work. They also have extensive lunch and Korean specialty menus. Dine-in or carry-out options“

“I ordered catering for a baptism/birthday party for about 25 people. Daniel was super helpful and accommodating working with me last minute. Best of all his food (Mediterranean platters, sausage and peppers, and vodka penne) was fresh, delicious, and plentiful! I highly recommend!“
“An absolute must at Reading Terminal Market. A fine collection of meats, cheeses, and pickles for incredibly affordable prices!
The staff were lovely and attentive and made the whole purchasing experience easy and personalized.
While Reading Terminal Market can get incredibly busy, Riehl feels like it is in the perfect spot to afford the crowds and noise.“

“I recently bought a hoagie from Tony’s Hoagies at 2nd and Porter because a friend of mine used to bring them meetings not to far away. She said she couldn’t get to Rocco’s so she went to Tony’s. I told her about Jeannie’s. Tony’s were pretty good I was pretty hungry which helped. When I was eating the Hoagie I couldn’t help thinking I wish I had a Jeannie’s Hoagie plus I get to talk to Jimmy McAllister who owns it while his son Steve makes it. I know a lot of the regulars so I get to catch up on some of the news in S Philly. And Jimmy is one of funniest people on the planet. I don’t know why but his Liverwurst is the best I ever had and I lived in NYC. In the mornings I often would get a BLT also outstanding and the prices you have to ask twice because they are so cheap., 7 out of 10 times I will get a coffee and sometimes to go and eat the sandwich and drink the coffee in Marconi Park a mere 10 minute walk. This Joint is a WINNER“

“We had our baby shower catered by Goodfella’s this past weekend & all of the food was absolutely delicious. Chicken parm, roast pork, meatballs, chicken marsala, pasta, veggies & potatoes were all excellent. The rolls they supplied us were good too. We had about 70 guests & everyone enjoyed the food, asking us where it was from. Thank you to everyone at Goodfella’s for making our shower even better with good eats.“

“Had Chick's cater my son's first birthday, and couldn't have been more happy with the experience. Joe sat down with me, helped me determine how many portions we would need for the number of people in attendance, and we went through the menu and made the appropriate selections. (For 40 adults and ~15 kids, we ended up getting two cold sandwich trays and ~15 Hot Sandwiches cut down into portions). At the party, the sandwiches were the star of the show. I had a warming oven to keep the hot sandwiches warm, and even after a few hours, the bread did not lose its integrity. We had some leftovers, but not too many, and there was no shortage of folks eager to take some home. 5+ Stars to the Chick's crew for making this process seamless.“

“Wawa is closed at 900 block of Walnut Street (Feb. & March 2025), so I tried Sam's for a breakfast sandwich. Good sandwich at good price, and quick. Happy camper. There is no place to sit. Take-out only. It's a small deli and convenience store. This is my new Wawa.“
