“I’ve walked by this spot so many times, and it seemed every time I was hungry they were closed (closed on weekends) but today I finally stepped in. I ordered 2 bánh mìs and a Vietnamese coffee. Pete, the owner/operator of the spot was the only one there and we instantly jumped into great conversation about the music scene in Philly back in the late 90s. We ended up knowing a lot of the same people. Philly is a tight knit group. So even before eating the food I was already a fan of this spot. Pete served me his special take on Vietnamese coffee while we talked and he made the sandwiches. The iced coffee was excellent, but different and less sweet than Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in the past. He also used ice cubes made of coffee which was an added bonus for a coffee junkie like myself. After we talked for nearly 20 min, I walked home with my sandwich and WOW! Such a solid bánh mì! I told him to make it like he would make it for himself (spicy) and he knocked it out of the park. I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing all my music friends here when they are in the neighborhood. I highly encourage Olde City residents as well as Philly locals to give this place a try!“

“Discovered this place on Google and just a short walk from South Street that was well worth the trip. The staff was very friendly and caring about the quality of the food we bought. The place feels like a neighborhood favorite and the staff had a lot of regulars coming and going. The food? Delicious. The ingredients are of great quality and the bread from the sandwhiches were fresh as well. When you think of a Philly hoagie, this is the place you should be eating at.“

“Was craving cheese fries and heard Poe’s has great ones. Can confirm the cheese sauce itself was very tasty. I wish the fries were crispier, they seemed like natural hand cut fries but got too soggy. Some sogginess is expected with hot gooey cheese on top, but I’ve had crispier.

“Had the roast beef special today with fresh mozz roasted reds on the side with broccoli rabe. It was phenomenal usually roast beef is dry this was not the case as it was amazing. Had lunch there with my uncle he had a sandwich also. we both took a different sandwich to go, I took the chicken Italiano I'll have that for dinner tonight. I gave the food 4 stars bc i prefer pork bacon but i do respect them not bringing in pork! just a personal preference. “I just moved into Rittenhouse Claridge and my experience has been great so far! John in the leasing office was very helpful and answered my many questions very promptly. Anita was at the front desk during my move in and is so pleasant and helpful, she made the experience very smooth. My apartment was very clean when I moved in. Also, the location of the building is amazing! Lastly, If you need parking, there is a garage under the building operated by LAZ parking, and Bala, the garage attendant, is wonderful. My parents would order the best thing ever, the Bobby, almost every other weekend ! It is a must try ! Personally I like the cranberries on the side, to add when I eat it. I just had the 6inch chicken cutlet with peppers and provolone w/ fries and soda. I can't believe I haven't tried them before now! The chicken was breaded nicely, you can see the cheese and it was very filling! I only ate half because there were three pieces of chicken on a toasted roll. The wait was no longer than any other truck that cooks to order. The ONLY thing that this sandwich was missing was a sauce. Add marinara or spaghetti sauce and maybe cooked onions and this sandwich would be 10/10. Without the sauce...I'd give it a 9/10! The service was very nice as well!“
