“I had the most amazing experience a few weeks ago. I forgot to post right away but I was missing cheese on my sandwich I had purchased the night before. When I brought it back the next day to get a few slices thrown on he made me a whole new sandwich and said he knew it wouldn't taste the same had he just threw some slices on which to me is top tier customer service!“

“Very cute clean little place like a lot of the recently renovated shops on mainstreet. Both employees in the shop were very friendly and provided good service. Most important part, the food. I got the classic Italian. It's had the perfect amount of meat. They didn't go skimpy which was nice, everything tasted nice and fresh. I feel it could've used alittle bit more cheese, but I'm of the opinion that you can never have to much cheese so take that with a grain of salt I have tired A LOT of Italian subs in the area and aside from hogie hut this is the only other one I'll definetly come back for. Verry yummy. I also like the other selections of subs on the menu also sound good and I look forward to trying them.“

“Ive been going here for what seems like 100 years. All the sandwiches are delicious, but what I keep coming back for is the Mac salad.its to die for and I’m pretty sure they sprinkle crack on it (just kidding) Everytime I go I make sure to get a large to eat and a large to take home. I used to work around the corner and I used to go twice a week….now I’m lucky if I have it once every two months because I’ve moved further, but every time I go I am a happy girl.“

“Now this is a place that needs to get a 5 Star Review. Been living in this town for about 8 years now and I believe this is the first time I can honestly say that this Deli knows how to make an amazing hero, and I've tried almost all of them. The people working there were nice and pleasant. They were warm and welcoming. The gentleman took pride in his work and crafted an amazing breakfast sandwich. “I live down south, and can't find a subthe way I like, I was in Edison delivering a load, the sub is really good, and the service was just as good if not better, I put this place in my GPS, so I will be able to find it again, I will be back“

“Took a chance on this restaurant passing through on the way to the airport. The burgers were huge and awesome! My husband and I each ordered a side of fries and we definitely could have shared one -- huge amount. Wish the cashier would have let us know when we ordered. We sat outside on the porch and enjoyed one of the first beautiful spring days. Tons of college kids out so it was fun people watching.“

“The #17 (ham, salami, provolone) is my favorite one in NJ. The catch for me is how phenomenal the LTO is (order hoagie w/ everything). Bread and cold cuts are critical. On top of that, if you can notice the quality of the flavor in spices and veges, you have something special.“

“The two gentlemen behind the counter were very pleasant. They have a decent menu selection. For the most part, it does not matter if you get a half or a whole sub because you’re not getting a deal by getting the whole sub. Example: most half subs are $7.99 whereas the whole sub is $15.99. There are a few where the whole sub gives you a $.50 savings. Today I did get a cheesesteak with extra provolone cheese, onions, hot peppers and a special hot sauce that they make. I’m glad I got the extra cheese because it definitely needed that and the condiments that were on there were very good. The meat itself didn’t taste like anything special but it wasn’t bad. It seems all of their cold cuts are Thummann’s which is high-quality. I do believe that the cheesesteak sub needed more meat. The meat itself did not even cover the bread end to end. One one end of the sub there was nothing but the bread by about 1.5” and 2” of nothing at the other end. So about 3.5 inches of the 16 inch sub was just bread. In all reality, I believe you are better off going with a half cheesesteak and double everything so you get a full sandwich with half of the bread. I cannot speak for any other sandwich as this is the first time I was there and the only item that I did purchase, as far as the entrée goes. I did get a small thing of potato salad, which was some store-bought stuff just scooped into little containers that was just meh. My meal of a cheesesteak, small potato salad and a Diet Coke can came to just over $20.“

“Monterey Fine Foods catered my father-in-law's repast last weekend. Andres was professional, helpful, kind, and very patient - he offered and delivered every convenience, and the servers were amazing. When they left the place was spotless. The food is amazing, special shout-out for the shrimp tostados, the summer salad, and the onion dip w/homemade potato chips! Would definitely recommend and use them again.“

“Got some sandwiches tonight. I mean they had a tight shift team tonight. Great group of workers. Great music. Great service. Great sandwiches made. Not messy. “This has always been my go to spot for sandwich platters. Ordering online is quick and easy. My family and friends have special dietary requirements and Alfredo's has always been able to accommodate. They use Boar's Head meat and the roast beef has won me over in comparison to sandwich chains. Their chicken, tuna, and egg salads are great too! This is an old school NJ delicatessen. Do not expect upscale, fashionable decor. I felt the need to post because while they are not a 5, they definitely are not a 1.“

“Ordered 50 veggie patty subs for volunteers at a local Health Fair. Maulika was very pleasant and friendly, and still gave me a good price even though there was a misunderstanding between whether I ordered all veggie sub or veggie patty sub. She was so accommodating and even gave us a free sub to “taste”. Customer service was excellent. Place was clean. Subs were ready on time, and delicious. We got extra condiments.
