“Great food, good service and reasonable prices“

“I had the singular best meals I’ve ever eaten in my whole life here (lamb curry). I came back the next day and had perhaps the second best dish I’ve ever eaten.“

“We've been looking for a great Thai restaurant for years. This place is a gem! Drunken Noodles and Tom Yum were top notch. It was my wife's birthday and she jokingly said she just wanted Drunken Noodles with a candle in it, so when we went, I quietly asked if they had a candle to put in it as a gag. They went over the top, like a noodle birthday cake and played Happy Birthday. Her eyes lit up and she loved it. They have us for customers for life.“

“Tee,the owner was so nice to us. It was my wife's birthday and she gave her some ice cream and pastry. Also to my son and I. The ice cream had a coating to it so I don't know the proper name. The Tad Phai was excellent along with the veggie and pork rolls. Next time we are trying the red and green Curry. This is a must visit. Don't let the size of the restaurant fool you.“

“I recently went to Thailand this year and wanted to find a local Philly Thai food spot because I missed it so much. This place did not disappoint!!!!! I am SO excited to go back again. We had one of the evening's specials, shrimp dumplings, as well as the Salmon Prik and the Drunken Noodles. All three were excellent. Also ordered the appetizer sampler - good but not up to the high standard of the other dishes. Ended the meal with fried bananas and vanilla ice cream. It was absolutely amazing. It definitely was not what I am used to getting. The meat was tender and juicy with just the right amount of sauce. No grizzle. “There is not a more satisfying mall food court pad thai than the dish my partner and I order from Thai Max. We've tried their pad thai, egg rolls, coconut shrimp, mixed vegetables, spicy chicken, bbq chicken, and fried banana and it's all been fresh, hot, and delicious.

Is it the same Thai food that one could expect from a standalone restaurant? Absolutely not!

But if there's a craving for cheap, fast, fresh, and hot Thai food... Thai Max will satisfy.

Portion sizes are absolutely huge. The pad thai is always made fresh on the wok while we wait.

We've been to Thai Max at various times of the year - the busy Christmas season, a slow Monday morning in the springtime - and regardless of the level of traffic at the mall, Thai Max is solidly consistent.“
