I got the cinnamon butter toast with fruit and it was great other than the random flavor of onion in parts of it. I think maybe the same knife was used after an onion to cut the banana in my meal. It’s not the end of the world but definitely took away from how good it could have been! The same flavor of onion traveled into the fruit cup which was just banana and blueberry.
I found this place a year ago down in Barnegat… sad to see the location go but was SUPER excited when I found this location!! First thing we did on the island this time around is get lunch here. I’d go to war for these sandwiches.
Staff are amazing and very kind, drinks are delicious, and the food is enough to keep you coming back for more! Will 100% come back for more!

Based on customer reviews, Agnello's Cafe is a gem with friendly and efficient staff. The single best coffee was served here, and the cappuccino freddo is so delicious. The food is fantastic, with the turkey club being perfect, and the quality of food stands out as everything is fresh and made with care. Customers enjoyed a Build your Own sandwich and a matcha drink, both pretty good. The cafe has kiosks which makes ordering super easy, allowing customers to add extra espresso and make all the mods to a sandwich with ease. The cafe also has potato chips/pretzels, cold drinks, snacks, and baked goods. There is easy parking with a few spots on the left side of the building. The seating area is limited with mostly wall counter seating, and there are stairs at the entrance with no wheelchair accessible ramp. The bathrooms were ok. The cafe is accessible right next to the beach and even had a water bowl for a puppy inside.
