“This was my second time dining at La Bamba Grill and I must say that this place is one of the coolest restaurants I have visited.
It’s very obvious how much love goes into every dish before it is delivered to your table and once you take your first bite you will be a believer.
The service on this occasion was a 10/10 and all the credit goes to Yuri who was our server and Leydi who assisted. These 2 young ladies are some of the most authentic people I have encountered. You can tell how much they love what they do and that is a testament to the owners because they have to be treating their employees very well for them to be smiling like they do.
Lastly the decor is one of a kind. You can tell a lot of thought went into the layout and the design of this place.“

“Was visiting my mom but left her casa hungry. I stopped by looking for authentic mex food and found it. I'm not sure which part of Mexico the family that runs this place is from so I something I'm more familiar so I ordered the chicken quesadilla. It was really good with the chili sauce. Only thing missing was horchata. I washed it down with grapefruit jarrito. I paid in cash not sure if cc accepted. “Small, no frills, Mexican mom and pop place with baked goods (conchas , pan dulce) and home cooking and Mexican street food (tacos, huaraches, burritos, tortas, sopes etc etc) ... I had the huaraches al pastor ($13) and a jarrito. They were very good, and proper ..the portions were big. I was expecting 1 big huarache but I got 3 small ones, which is good because they were so filling I ate 2 and brought the 3rd home. I would go here again. I want to try the tacos which all the other tables were eating on their lunch hour.“

We are from out of town looking for home cooking, let me tell you, this was the most delicious food we've had since we've been here. The restaurant is clean and the owner stayed and talked to us for a long while. I had the steak smothered with onions, salad, white rice, black beans and maduros(sweet plantains). You get large portions, my wife took her left overs to the hotel for later. My wife is a very picky eater and she loved everything that was served. I frequently order their quesadillas de pollo, tamales verde, tamales de Rajas (stuffed with peppers and cheese), and their tacos de bistec. Call them. You won't be disappointed. Btw... their prices are cheap for the quantity of food that your getting.“

Honestly, I was missing it more than I’d care to admit… So, when I finally swung by again, I was kinda hyped only to get hit with a letdown. The first visit was meh, and the next couple times? Still not it. The staff looked like they were still figuring out which end of the burrito is up. But then, today—boom. I walk in and there’s Jeffrey, holding it down behind the counter like some sort of burrito wizard. Seriously, shoutout to this guy. My bowl? Absolute fire. Fresh as hell and you could just tell someone actually cared making it. That’s what I expect from Bubakoos, you know? All the pieces, base, meat, toppings, just on point. Plus, the dude’s quick, nails it every time, super chill, and actually acts like he wants you there. I really hope I see more of Jeffrey (or at least someone who gets it like he does) because that’s the kind of vibe that keeps me coming back.
