“Our first time going to the Totowa location (met up with friends for lunch). Staff was very friendly and helpful - we decided to eat outside and they brought the food to us quickly. We had the tacos, regular bowl with carnitas and fajita bowl with steak and pina-mango drink. Food was very tasty and freshly made. Will come back to try El Pastor. Definitely recommend Sombrero Tacoria.“

“Excellent birria tacos; the best I’ve had, and I’ve tried a lot. Beef was extremely flavorful and juicy. Consume also very well flavored. I also tried Al pastor, carnitas, and chorizo tacos. They were all extremely juicy and flavorful, with crispy corn tortillas. The green sauce and spicy orange sauce were excellent. Beans and rice - fantastic. I will definitely be back. The flavors on display here beat out anything similar I’ve had in recent memory. I’m a food snob and I wholeheartedly approve 😅“

“Recently had my daughters graduation party at Agave. Isaac, the owner was extremely helpful and the staff worked very hard to make sure my party ran smoothly. The food and cocktails were fantastic. We had a party of 50+ with a DJ and had plenty of room dinner and dancing. The party was very affordable! Would definitely recommend!!“

“Great authentic Mexican restaurant. My favorite is the shrimp à la Mexicans with rice and refried beans. Shrimp are usually a nice size and seem to be fresh. Love that the sauce is freshly made. My family usually orders the chicken quesadilla, shrimp or pork burrito, tamales de carnitas just to list a few. This is truly a weekly go to spot for us.“

“From the moment we walked in, the service at Dulce Patria was incredible. We were warmly welcomed right away, and the ambience is absolutely beautiful with plenty of great spots for photos. Our server, Natasha, was amazing and took the time to explain all their promotions, including a great happy hour menu. We tried the Tussi Roll, Dominican Power, and Cuban Tempora sushi rolls. Each one was full of flavor, and I was honestly impressed by how good they were. My friend ordered the Bad Bunny drink and the Beso de Coco. She enjoyed both, but the coconut one was her favorite and she definitely recommends it for coconut lovers. Parking isn’t the greatest in the area, but this place is absolutely worth the effort to find a spot. Overall, I had a great experience here and will definitely be coming back with more friends.“

The food was very good and done at the time we requested (we placed a special request to get it done right away - bad planning on our part - thanks for helping). in addition, we received our food the exact way we requested it and nothing was missing. My only minor complaint is that the burrito is smaller than some places but it was well worth $10, which is a fair price. Everything else was priced fairly as well with large quantities and in most instances cheaper than other places The chicken tacos and nachos was a large, very tasty serving. The person who took our order was very friendly. Two requests - please add churros (your competitors have) & fix online ordering :) we look forward to returning!“

I'm not sure which part of Mexico the family that runs this place is from so I something I'm more familiar so I ordered the chicken quesadilla. It was really good with the chili sauce. Only thing missing was horchata. I washed it down with grapefruit jarrito. I paid in cash not sure if cc accepted. Next time I will see if they have a house special like dish more known in there hometown“

“Small, no frills, Mexican mom and pop place with baked goods (conchas , pan dulce) and home cooking and Mexican street food (tacos, huaraches, burritos, tortas, sopes etc etc) ... I had the huaraches al pastor ($13) and a jarrito. They were very good, and proper ..the portions were big. I was expecting 1 big huarache but I got 3 small ones, which is good because they were so filling I ate 2 and brought the 3rd home. I would go here again. I want to try the tacos which all the other tables were eating on their lunch hour.“
