“Came here for lunch with my dad and enjoyed an awesome authentic experience. Music was festive as well as the atmosphere! Our waitress was knowledgeable and gave us breakdown of all the options to the dishes they prepared. My dad thoroughly enjoyed his Mexican style tacos and their freshly made salsa! Along with this the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend trying this place out!“
“I was just thinking about this place today....I use to go here religiously but that was when I lived closer.....This place is legendaryyyy. I'm talking about the Mexican Menu. That chimichanga, flauta, quesadilla combo meal they have is just too good. Their fajita mix is amazing. To be honest, not a single Mexican restaurant I found till this day offers a combination meal the way Tony's does. For those who are unaware the owners owned a Mexican restaurant down the street from Tony's. They closed it down to open up Tony's and offered the Mexican menu. The portions are big, atmosphere is good, prices are good, if you don't go here to try their Mexican food you will regret it...trust“
“Wow!! So we had a group of 8 and was pouring rain so looking for a takeout place. Found Tacos Polos because it was only 5 minutes away. We ordered tons of food for pickup. The price was great and the quality and amount for the price was unbelievable. We ordered a 30 tacos combo ?they were amazing. Everything was so good. The tacos are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the flavors are truly authentic. We tried the fried pork, beef birria and chicken birria tacos and churros they were excellent. “This is the best Mexican food I've had in Jersey!! It's family owned and the family is incredibly friendly. The food is authentic, it tastes like it was served straight out of abuela's kitchen. The homemade sauces and dishes are delicious and unique in taste. They serve birria tacos occasionally which are to die for !!! The place is cozy and bright. They deliver, prices are reasonable and the food tastes great even reheated. I love this spot!!!“
“Be careful what you wish for. One torta here completely eliminated any chance I'd be doing any more climbing yesterday at the gym we were at next door. Delicious lunch though next time I'll opt for something lighter if I hope to continue climbing.“

“I always order burritos from here, also love their chips and guac (just wish there was a smaller size for chips cause I never finish them). They always do a great job preparing the food. “I came here one time for a quick dinner date with my best friend. And this is my second time coming I just had my birthday dinner with 13 guests. And everyone agreed that all the ladies there were super attentive. The music was so good and the food was even better. Jamelle was our waiter and her patients divine. “The food here was excellent. Freshness and effort came through in all the dishes clearly. Everyone at the table loved their food - we ordered fish tacos, chicken fajitas nachos to share with everyone and our friends ordered the veg quesadillas and grilled veg Mexican bowl(it comes in a plate?). The restaurant also offers sauces with 3 different levels of spice which that added an additional element of flavour. The best thing is that they offer great service too ! Very warm and involved. “My whole family really loves Los Carnales. I'm surprised I haven't written about them yet. It's our 3 year old son's first choice when we were deciding where to go. He loves the chips with the green salsa, and he has good taste - it's very flavorful. The inside is just super cute and festive. It is small and cozy, but one of our favorite spots. We also love the waitresses. We do get take out often as well, but despite our introvert personalities we prefer to go there. We try different things on the menu, but we always start with the Choriqueso. It's so hard to find a good chorizo queso that isn't all grease with cheap cheese. This ends up being the little guy's meal. I also love the Ensalada de la Casa with shrimp. Lately we've been loving the Quesadilla Mexicanas with steak or shrimp. They are really generous portions as well. The menu has both Mexican and American style on the favorites, which I really appreciate. Not only is it good for those used to one style, but it also offers great variety if you just want something different. I'm sorry it took almost a year for me to applaud this place. Mexican is our favorite but I have struggled to find a good place, despite glowing reviews. The food looks fantastic but then the protein is completely bland. Not Los Carnales!! They know what they're doing.“

“We are from out of town and we were looking for a family oriented restaurant that had good home cooking. The food was delicious, I had a whole snapper with white rice and tostones (green fried plantains) and my husband had white rice, black beans, salad and steak smothered in onions. Everything was Delicious and I even took my leftovers to the hotel for later. I can't say enough about the treatment we got from Denis the owner and his wife. He came to our table and we talked and even exchanged phone numbers. I would recommend anyone looking for a homey place with excellent food and staff to go and enjoy your meal there. The beverages tasted fantastic too, as long as the strength was just right—just the right amount of kick. There was more than enough food for me to finish the entrée and apps, which were also proportionately served. By far the BEST guacamole I have ever eaten along with perfect homemade chips.All 3 of us loved our taco selections and they even offer to make your tacos with a lettuce wrap instead of flour shell. “i usually order on uber eats so i can’t comment on the atmosphere. i’ve ordered about 6 times so far and loved it every time. the birria tacos are phenomenal and amazingly priced for how much meat they pack into the tacos. 2nd fave of mine is their shrimp tacos, i’ll be honest the presentation for those is typically crappy, but they taste really good. my one of my favorite things from this restaurant has to be their salsa verde!! it’s so flavorful and fresh EVERY TIME. i always order extras“

“We ordered the chicken tacos, chicken nachos and a beef burrito. The food was very good and done at the time we requested (we placed a special request to get it done right away - bad planning on our part - thanks for helping). in addition, we received our food the exact way we requested it and nothing was missing. My only minor complaint is that the burrito is smaller than some places but it was well worth $10, which is a fair price. Everything else was priced fairly as well with large quantities and in most instances cheaper than other places The chicken tacos and nachos was a large, very tasty serving. The person who took our order was very friendly. Two requests - please add churros (your competitors have) & fix online ordering :) we look forward to returning!“
“I came here hungry for just a burrito, but ended up getting a whole different experience! You can tell the chefs put love and effort into the food they make, everything is fresh and tasty! I ended up settling on a chicken quesadilla with a side of refried beans and it definitely hit the spot. And like any authentic Mexican restaurant, they give you fresh chips and salsa once you sit down (always reassures me that I'm not about to be served microwave food!!!)The owner Rey was our host for the evening and you can tell he cares about his business. He's extremely personable and makes sure his guests are happy and taken care of. 10/10 job on his part!If you're in the area don't pass this place up. “The food is very tasty and authentic. Something that my family and I love is whenever you get seated you are given chips and salsa. Salsa here is great and tastes very fresh. As a separate option you can order guacamole for the chips, this however costs extra. The atmosphere here is amazing as it feels welcoming and lively inside. Workers are very nice and are always rotating around tables to see where they’re needed. Sometimes, there are even people that walk around signing and playing instruments to entertain. Surprisingly, they did not hang up the phone, but rather, the gentleman put me in contact with their caterer. She was extremely kind and helpful. The tripe one was my favorite! They were all super super good and the salsas were good! The red one was my favorite. The service was fast and super good, they came to check on us and got things to us relatively fast. I don't want to judge the place just cause it looks like they just moved to that location. But honestly it didn't even matter the food was super good! The only only thing is I got a margarita and it was a pre mix one which I didn't like so I didn't end up drinking it. However!
