“First time there for myself. My wife had been there recently for lunch. OMG, amazing. We started with their homemade, warm Pita with Babaganush (sp?). Awesome. I had their Arugala salad, which I like wherever I go. This was amazing as well. Then we had our entrees. None of us could finish our meals, they were so plentiful and delicious. We each took home doggy bags. We told them we couldn’t possibly eat desserts so we ordered some to go. They then brought out hot Turkish teas for us AND a plate of a custard for us to share. Delicious!!! WOW! This place jumped right up near the top of our list for favorite restaurants. We will definitely be back.“

You grab a menu, then go to the counter to order. Food comes out quick, and it's a big portion size. Great area to walk as well. Highly recommend.“

It's BYOB but the waitress (Elif i think) made sure to bring all we needed for the wine and checked on us multiple times throughout the night to make sure we were good.

Flavor was very authentic Middle Eastern in both the shawarma and pickles. I also had their fattoush which was very good. 2 people can easily be served from both the shawarma and fattoush! We had the rack of lamb and filet kabob as our entrees and the zucchini pancakes and babaganoosh as our appetizers. Cannot recommend enough.“

The service was alright but I only interacted with one employee who after I told her my name still chose to say it wrong to be funny. “We were in the area to see Cherry Blossom Festival in the local park. We originally planned to eat at our favorite restaurant Istanbul in Clifton NJ. We got hungry and looked for close by Turkish restaurants, found this place. Absolutely loved the ambiance, food and the service. We are hooked for life. Try the Calamari for appetizer, lamb shish kababs for main entry. Food was authentic and cooked to perfection. We will be back.“

I’ve been living in the U.S. for 16 years, and the thing I’ve missed and loved the most is lahmacun. After trying it at PIDDE, I’ve never had lahmacun anywhere else again. At other places I’ve tried over the years, I always experienced heartburn afterward — but never at PIDDE.
