“Have had this place multiple times. Boneless wings were very good. Usually get a burrito or bowl either Nashville hot or ghost pepper. I would suggest this place has an alternative for Qdoba Chipotle or moes. Good food is reasonably priced.“

While I agree the pricing is a bit high you can tell the ingredients are fresh and good quality....they haven't been sitting under a heat lamp for 8 hours. The staff was super friendly! Neither of us was able to finish our dinner as they give you so much food. The only complaint I had, which might have been corrected if I asked, was they only gave 3 tortilla shells with the fajitas. “Though no one was answering the phone there to see if it was open, we ventured on a Wednesday night around 630 before a show at the Count Basie. Walked in and a less than handful of folks at the small bar. No one at the tables. I had to trust the Yelp reviews. Two people seemed to be working, and I believe one was manager and chef. Menu was nice and service was attentive and friendly. The guac was very generous and very good. The entrees had a lot going on on the plate. Fish, rice, corn, salad, veggies, Brussel sprouts, asparagus. A very large serving plate. Could tell care went into the food presentation. Will definitely be back. This is a hidden gem that deserves a spotlight.“

“The birria tacos are incredible. This might be a weird comparison, but the meat reminds me of my mom’s pot roast with Mexican flavors. “We went to Alfonso’s following my parents’ wedding for a small dinner. The service was absolutely incredible, all the servers were so attentive and friendly. They went above and beyond to create a fun and memorable experience for us. They cut and served a wedding cake and also played the wedding song for my parents. We had the best time and truly were so grateful to the servers for their attentiveness! We all loved our meals. The tacos were a hit and so were the quesadillas. Drinks were also tasty and they were very accommodating to offering vegetarian alternatives as well! “Went here after getting off the train from Ranger game. I didnt know this place had pizza. I grabbed a white slice, meatball and pepperoni slice, a bee sting pie (trust me, just get it) and a salad. Everything was awesome. Very reasonably priced and good service. I highly recommend this place.“

“The kid was craving Mexican food so we searched Yelp and found that this place has good reviews. The photos of the food looked good. We decided to try it. There is no parking lot for this place. There is a Municipal parking lot about one block over behind the post office. We lucked out as there was street parking directly in front of the restaurant. We ordered agua de Jamaica. Huge glass for $4.95. I would guess that it's 16-20 ounces. Gigantic. Well priced. We ordered guacamole which was good too. They didn't give us any salsa for the table like they do at other Mexican joints. For our mains, we ordered their mixed fajitas with shrimp chicken and beef. It was about $21 and it was a huge dish. It's not the usually fajitas that I've had at other places. Theirs comes in a delicious sauce which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was a generous portion and the flavors were on point. We recommend it. Our other dish was the El Rinconcito which came with grilled items: pork cutlets, beef, chicken, shrimps cactus, Spanish cheese rice and beans. It was an alright eight. We prefer the saucy fajita dish more. We def plan to go back. Next time, we are going to order their molcajete which is listed at $34.95 so I assume it'll be a huge dish for two based on the price. From the owners description, it Comes with all kinds of meats steak chicken shrimp pork sausage. I'm trying my best not to go back two days in a row but I may swing by for Lunch later. Good is good as is service. Good came out quick and she asked a few times whether we needed anything else. I believe they give some sort of cash discount or charge to use credit card because she asked how I was paying. They add an auto tip of 15% which I didn't mind. Gave her a few bucks more. All in all, it was a good meal. Appears to be a small mom and pop store and I'm happy to support local small business. It helps that the food is delicious too.“

“Two of my preferred dining establishments are Qdoba and Moe's. I used to frequent Chipotle and held it in high regard until I discovered Moe's. Moe's offers more favorable pricing and provides greater value for the money spent. I experienced a similar sentiment when transitioning from Moe's to Qdoba. Qdoba offers more substantial portions at more affordable prices. In terms of taste, Moe's and Qdoba are quite comparable. This particular Qdoba is conveniently situated on Route 1/9, sharing the same premises as Big Shots. I have never encountered overcrowding during my visits.“

I just wish they gave more salsa as we had excess chips and not enough salsa. Barbacoa chimichanga burrito was delicious and very filling. Pulled pork sliders as an appetizer were good too. Maduros were delicious. Apple empanadas were absolute favorite will definitely be ordering years with every order in the future. Only disappointing food item were the chicken tostadas. These are a staple for me at every Mexican restaurant I visit. I know each restaurant makes them different. I just didn’t prefer they were the way they were made here. This restaurant made them with chunks of grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, and shredded cheese. Overall it was a good experience. I just wouldn’t order the chicken tostadas again in the future.“

Her demeaner with us was stoic while jovial with other tables. Secondly, they made changes to the menu that I don't care for, like the guacamole on the blackened chicken tacos. Just add Baja sauce. Also, the salad lack today's salad expectations. For one, the dressings are thick and processed. They need to be fresh prepared in house. Also, bring back the old recipe for the drunken clams. It was the best around and we've tried many. It's all there at Woody's for a nice casual meal. It just needs to be rejuvenated.“
