“I would ignore the bad reviews that are posted for this location. Its not inside of a walmart. Its location is in a plaza. The manager and his wife do an outstanding job with customer service. I got here at 8:50 and they close at 9 pm. The guy was super sweet and gave me fresh ingredients. He went above and beyond. Very good first impression. Definitely coming back here. The rede comments are from people who are unhappy with the franchise but thats not the location owners fault!“

Ordered Sloppy Russian, Antico, & Italian… delicious. Big City Sandwiches for sure. Fresh breads. So happy to have such a great deli in town. Will certainly be back soon to try another.“

“This one was by far one that was much better than all the others... I really didn't even want to go there because usually their subs are soggy wet and not worth your buck. But this one the sub was dry they really took care to make sure enough meat was in it and it was delicious, I'm really impressed.“

“Gave a 5 for the atmosphere although I haven’t been there. I imagine it’s top notch based off of the customer service experience I had with a young gentleman on the phone today. I made an Uber Eats order and called to make an adjustment to my sandwiches. The young man on the phone was professional and did not hesitate to make sure that my accommodations would be granted. I wish I caught his name but the call took place at approximately 3:36PM on 1OCT25. He was exactly what I expect when calling an eatery. Prompt, direct, and accommodating. No questions asked, no back and forth. As someone who works in the industry it was greatly appreciated.“

“John and his family are amazing ❤️ his staff member John is also the best , very hard worker . Food is great and Deli is absolutely spotless . Honestly nothing to say bad or disappointing about this Deli . They also have a variety of snacks ,drinks that are gluten free allergy friendly for myself and my daughter that most large box stores don't even carry .“

“I went to Just Subs to place an order for a gathering involving a large number of people. I had reviewed the menu and had come up with a figure of $300.00, which by my calculations would provide enough subs, salads and sides for all involved. Probably with some left over. Joe the owner and his employee Desire questioned me about the number of people I wished to serve, and at that point told me that I was ordering too much food! Upon Joe's advice, I ordered a menu which came to a final total of $215.00! Everything was delicious, and there was some left over, just as Joe supposed there would be. It was a nice, professional gesture on his part, and a good way to treat a customer.“

“The workers today at Jersey Mikes went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience with my first time there. Walking me step by step of the ingredients, the types of sandwiches, and how good each sandwich was. Manan was the leader of this charge, and he deserves some props. He worked harder then anyone to ensure my sandwich was made the perfect way for my liking. I will definitely be back, and I sure hope Manan will be working!“

“The food here is excellent, the staff is very professional and they always get my order right. The ingredients are fresh and the portions are generous. I have been to many subway sandwich locations but at this point this is the only one I trust and it is absolutely 100 percent the people who work here that make the difference. I always have a positive experience in the place. I typically take my food to go, however I did sit down and eat here once and I was surprised that I actually enjoyed it, the wall decor is nice, and the place is very clean. Of all the subway sandwich locations in the city, this is the only one I go to.“

It’d be cool if the plaza would put in a handicap accessible curb in one of the two parking spots in front of the doors. A lot of customers come up that way and kinda struggle with stepping on and off the sidewalk there, older folks and people with strollers. There’s one a few suites down but it’s not as busy.“

“We order subs form here at least twice a month. Subs are always pretty good BUT today I ordered a meatball sub.. All I can say is it was the nastiest meatball sub I ever ate! I’m sure the meatball sub from WaWa is much better. The sub contained a crap load of sauce and mushed meat not even meatballs. The meat tasted like the cheap meat from a can. Every time I think of it I want to vomit 🤮!!!! I normally place online orders but today I went in. They don’t even put paper down while making your sandwich they place the bread on the counter and slide it from one side to the other. I didn’t complain since it looked clean BUT I will Not be ordering from there again. What a waste of $15. I tried giving the rest to my dog but he didn’t even eat it. He put it in his mouth then spit it back out. If a dog won’t eat what does that tell you???! I would really like a refund but reality I know I ain’t going to get one. So I will WARN all those who like meatball subs DO NOT go to Jersey Mikes in Matawan. They truly suck. I can’t get the nasty meat flavor out of my mouth. Smh I hope the cheese steak I picked up for my husband is good......“

“Honestly, the lady behind the counter is not the nicest, but they have the best turkey sandwiches and i love their brownies! I have tried a lot of sandwiches but there sandwiches hit different ? One day i need to try more stuff off their menu!“
