“It was Saturday evening the 11 of March . We ordered on line and went to pick it and they didn't get the order right away. “Had to drive over 45 minutes to get to this place. I’m giving this a 5 star because this is probably the best fish soup you are going to get in NJ. There are however much better places for this in Flushing Queens which would be double the driving time for me. The fish soup is good. Not the best. For the best, my go to place is still this place called Fish With You in Flushing. Give this place a try! Everything is good.

Update: had the comb for 2. The fish came under flavored. Needed some time to marinade in the soup. After it was better. We got the fried pork belly which is good. But can’t have too much because it is heavy. The glutinous cubes were fried so it was crispy on the outside and doughy on the inside. The syrup is used to dip and it serves as a good dessert to finish the meal off.”

“I visited this location on Saturday, July 19th around 5:30pm, (a busy time), and unfortunately didn’t love the taste of the drink I paid for. (At first sip.) The person working was a complete gentleman and kindly offered to make me another. It shows his character, and the values of this location to retain their customers. Would highly recommend going here when you’re in the area.”

“For a $1000 meal I expect flawless service and unfortunately that was not the case. Drinks ordered during dinner arrived while eating desert. Two times they brought over the wrong drinks and one order they completely forgot.. Also when waiter brings over food he should know who ordered what and not have to ask again. Food was good but service needs improvement if those are the prices you will be charging.”

“It was our honor and privilege to be a part of a dear friend's B'day Bash last Sunday at Kochi. Dining at Kochi was one of the, if not THE, most memorable experience ever. We were totally floored by the exquisite food - and service - provided by Chef and Owner Mr. Jebu Matthew and his team. From the cool berry drink and amazing classic South Indian appetizers, to the numerous - and for us, many new - items that kept appearing in front of us almost magically during the main meal, served in the traditional South Indian style (on banana leaves), right through the delectable halwa and delicious jaggery rice payasam (desserts), we could feel the love and careful attention with which each item was prepared and pride with which each item was served. Plus, being served by Mr. Matthew himself was, in and of itself, humbling. He patiently explained the intricacies of each delicacy which helped us understand the complexity of the cuisine's varied flavors. To be actually seated (for hours) and served at the table greatly enhanced the culinary experience. We have rarely, if ever, felt that we have consumed a feast - but now, can proudly say so - because of Mr. Matthew and our experience at Kochi. This one-of-a-kind mesmerizing event will remain etched as an indelible lifelong memory. Thank you so much - for making this magic happen. Wish Mr. Matthew only the very best in all his endeavors ! “Wow! Coming from the inner city, this place is now my top choice for Turkish Food!

Let’s start off with the environment. They have a literal horse carriage parked outside. The floral decorations, telephone booth, and overall layout inside creates a very premium ambiance that heightens the experience for restaurant enthusiasts.

Food was delivered promptly and cooked fresh. Not a single complaint for the dishes my family and I ordered ( refer to the photos). We also had a lovely server Memet that made the experience even more satisfying.

This place has an excellent glass door for parties 16 or less to feel more cozy and sit in cozy red carpeted seats. I plan to return for a future celebration with a large group of people!”

Foods always sooooo good and the people are so nice, even when I'm being a little annoying with my 13 people orders (I always get help when I have like 4 bags of foods). As a Muslim it is really hard to find good halal places that won't cost an arm and a leg, and this is is really affordable for the amount of food you are getting. I hope this place never closes. 10/10 would recommend”

“I’m in the area for just one night and needed to figure out where I could get a quick dinner. I saw Sophie’s Bistro and after getting a recommendation from a colleague, I made a reservation. It’s a really casual place; not pretentious in any way, but the bartender was both talented and conversational and made something off menu to enjoy. For dinner, I decided on French Onion Soup and Steak Frites and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Besides this, the bread service they bake in house is amazing and I learned about the owner and how he treats his people and that made me even happier that I came in. I wish we had a place like this where I live; I would be there all the time. I’m not sure when I’ll be back in the area, but next time I’m near Somerset, I know where I’ll do dinner. Give it a try, you’ll be happy”

“The restaurant was very clean, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our server was also very friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. My only comment is about the Turkish coffee and tea — I was expecting a more authentic preparation rather than something closer to espresso, especially since we came for the experience. That said, overall, the food was excellent, and we really enjoyed our visit”
