“Three of us had a wonderful dine-in experience at Koy Grill Marlboro/Morganville enjoying authentic Turkish/Mediterranean flavors and attentive service. From the moment we opened the door at 8:30 pm on a Sunday evening, we were greeted by a hostess who genuinely welcomed us to the restaurant. When we were seated, a pretty glass bottle of cold water was brought to our table, along with seasoned fresh/homemade Turkish bread and olive tapenade. The dinnerware and utensils were clean and tightly wrapped in napkin. Waiter and hostess (Ali and Olivia) introduced themselves. New to restaurant, I was given ample time to review menu. Both Ali (in training) and Olivia were very patient with my many menu questions. Needless to say, Ali and Olivia were spot on. We ordered multiple appetizers - shepherd salad, hummus + pita, crispy feta in phyllo rolls, and lentil soup. For dinner we had chicken shish, lamb adana, and lamb gyro + pita that I opted to top with grilled mushrooms and hot pepper. The online photos did not do the dishes any justice. I should have taken my camera out to share how plentiful the dishes were when served and how perfectly grilled the meats were, too! The food had delicious seasoning - that did not repeat afterwards. We took leftovers home and will enjoy lunch the next day. We each had desserts, too, that were served in glassware. One pistachio/gelato and two hazelnut/chocolate flute - both as pictured on menu. We were offered to take glassware home with us afterwards, but forgot to take with us while we focused on remembering to take our bagged leftovers. All in all, it was a truly enjoyable, unplanned Sunday evening dinner. Aside from the freshly cooked delicious food and desserts, it was one of the most pleasant interactions with restaurant staff that I can remember in a long time. We were totally floored by the exquisite food - and service - provided by Chef and Owner Mr. Jebu Matthew and his team. “For a $1000 meal I expect flawless service and unfortunately that was not the case. Drinks ordered during dinner arrived while eating desert. Two times they brought over the wrong drinks and one order they completely forgot.. Also when waiter brings over food he should know who ordered what and not have to ask again. Food was good but service needs improvement if those are the prices you will be charging.“

“We had an amazing meal a few weeks ago at Luca’s! We were greeted and seated and waited on promptly. We brought our own wine in which they had no problem opening for us. The food was out of this world. Their meatball appetizer is everything you’ve heard and then some. Incredible sauce, bread service, and our meals were excellent. My partner had the octopus for an appetizer and said it was incredible. Both of our meals were amazing and served timely and piping hot. I had the chicken marsala with mushroom risotto, delicious! And he had the veal saltimbocca. The service was prompt, pleasant and just perfect, and the atmosphere is lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“This place is truly something special. It’s an upscale Mexican/Tex-Mex experience that feels incredibly elevated and intentionally designed from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is dark, mysterious, and absolutely beautiful…every detail feels curated to create a one-of-a-kind vibe.

The cocktails are spectacular. You can tell each drink is crafted with real expertise and attention to detail, not just in flavor, but in presentation and experience. Everything works together, from the fire and smoke to the sparklers, creating such an exciting and immersive moment with every cocktail. I had a mezcal drink that was honestly the best I’ve ever had.

We started with chips, guacamole, and three different salsas, all of which paired perfectly together and complemented the margaritas so well. We also had the chicken tinga tostada, which was loaded and full of flavor. Definitely a standout appetizer.

For dinner, I had the lobster paella risotto and it was incredibly creamy and delicious. I especially appreciated that it focused on lobster and not other seafood elements as I have allergies, which worked perfectly for me. Truly a five-star dish. My boyfriend ordered the chef’s favorite chicken dish and couldn’t even finish it because of how generous the portion was…the chicken was cooked perfectly.

The portions overall are great for the price. You might expect smaller servings because of how upscale it is, but that’s not the case at all.

The sangria (both red and white) was also amazing! Not overly sweet, just perfectly balanced and refreshing. It genuinely felt like summer in a glass.

What made the experience even more special was the attention to detail in hospitality. It was my birthday, and they gave me a sweet birthday card when I arrived and ended the night with a candle to make a wish. Such a thoughtful touch 🩵😭

Before leaving, we walked around to take in the entire space, and it was so cool to see how different each area felt. One side is more intimate and quiet, perfect for smaller tables, while the other is more energetic and designed for larger groups. Even the bar is a whole experience on its own, with flame elements that add to the atmosphere.

We will absolutely be back for another special occasion, and next time hopefully with friends. I can’t wait to try more of their cocktails.

I’d also be remiss if I didn’t mention the service… our server was excellent, and although I do not remember his name, he had such knowledge and expertise of the menu that his suggestions and pairings were spot on. As well as the rest of the wait staff and buster’s collectively working together to make sure we had an upscale dining experience. It felt wonderful to be truly attended to.

“We were disappointed they weren’t open for in dining- only takeout. HOWEVER, we were delighted by our order- chicken shawarma and grape leaves. The young lady at the counter was sweet and personable.
We were impressed by the array of herb infused bottled vinegar that address a variety of ailments- curious about their effectiveness but at $50 a bottle didn’t want to gamble it.
We will be back for takeout and look forward to when they are open for dining.“

“I've been to this location quite a few times since it opened. The service has been good each time. The temperature of the food is always on point. The serving size is just right. Sometimes there is too much salt. The Mongolian beef particularly has been salty. The food has changed since 2020. Some things taste different, such as the crab wonton. Still good, but different and the sauce for dipping is not the same as it was. They have great cocktails. They even make seasonal ones. They have a great selection. Its really dark inside and while I dont mind it , sometimes I wish it was just a little less dark. Music isn't overwhelming. The noise level is not bad. I had the Orange Chicken spicy and it was delicious. Not too spicy, but the temperature was definitely hot. The pork dumplings were good as well, but again the sauce has changed for this one too. Bathrooms were clean. Parking can be challenging (it's at a mall so not all the time) small area for waiting to be seated.“
