“First off, I was met with by a staff member in a cowboy hat (LOVE!) The booth was so soft and comfy and the table stands are ornate. I had the short rib and the meat was fall off the bone delicious! It was so tender and the sides were so plentiful and delicious. Each side had something a little different to pair well with the meat; sweet, salty, savory! I also had the shik Karak which was a delicious tea and for dessert, I had a banana crepe drizzled in chocolate. They do have a flair with food and I will definitely be back here!“

“My first time going into this restaurant and the place was very clean and smelled like fresh food. The lady behind the counter was sweet, welcoming and very friendly. Honestly it has been a long time since Ive gotten this kind of service in a food establishment. Coming from New York I’ve been wary about buying halal food from Rahway (where I live for 5 years) because a lot of food places have disappointed me in this very area. So I’ve bypassed this place for a long time. But today I’ve decided to stop in after reading its reviews and I have to say. I am pleasantly surprised the food is good and fresh the spice was perfect and the falafels were very good. I am so happy this place is close to home I will be in here often. “Bombay Paratha is an excellent spot for Pakistani brunch. The halwa poori is delicious, and both the mooli and keema parathas are top-notch, flavorful, and taste homemade. Everything we tried had that authentic, home-cooked feel. My only gripe is the name; calling it "Bombay Paratha" doesn’t quite fit, as something like "Lahori Paratha" or "Punjabi Paratha" would be more accurate. That aside, the food speaks for itself. Definitely worth a visit!“

I wanted my mix platter with broccoli and zucchini which is not in their menu, they were able to provide that for me. My son love their buffalo wings dip in sauce and hot wings. “So me and my wife never had halal food. We ordered the hot spot platter and we were Blown away they serve you a generous amount of food which is worth the money. They also have sides you can choose to add on like jalapeños and and pickles etc. Everything is fresh like if it was just cut and pickled right then and there I couldn't believe that a small jalapeños piece had so much flavor to it. Definitely will be going back if I could give more than 5 stars I would“

“Never been to this place before and the gentleman at the counter took the time to go over their most popular dishes to help me decide. I got a mixed platter with chicken and lamb and it was so good that I wish I had more of a stomach to eat even more! It took about 15 minutes to have the food prepared but it was well worth the wait. Ingredients tasted fresh, the proteins were full of flavor and the sauce was top tier. Coming back again and again for sure.“

“Akihi is a chain of boba shops, with this location being located right near the Rutgers University campus. It was quite spacious, with large glass windows facing outwards to the plaza that hosts other smaller shops.

The shop hosted a self service kiosk, which made it easier to order and find things, as this was my first time visiting this chain. The menu is reasonably priced, with standard boba flavors as well as serving snacks.

I got the Brown Sugar Brulee, which wasn't too sweet but had a nice flavor to it. We also tried the passionfruit tea (called the fruit party) and it wasn't too sweet but very refreshing as well. It is a good compliment after having a heavy meal and you need something that isnt too sweet.

Overall a good first impression at a boba shop I've never seen before.“
