“It used to be 5 stars all around. The reason to go is the Lobster fried rice and that was tasteless. Carrots and peas no longer fresh- looked frozen or canned! Rice was bland. Nothing Chinese about it. Service was excellent and rest of food, grand marnier prawns excellent.“

“Best lo mein in the area. I get mine with roast pork. This was my secondary place after House of Chong, also in Middletown, which has unfortunately been lacking lately. Tai Hing just moved up to number one. They are cleverly closed on Tuesdays instead of Mondays, since so many restaurants are closed then. The prices are also really fair and a good value. “This is not our usual place. Either is the one across the street, which we ordered the day before and we’re extremely disappointed to the point that we wanted Chinese again the following night and we chose Golden Jade. Flat-out great food here and I knew it because it’s family run and everyone was friendly. You can tell they take pride in their cooking. We had fried dumplings which would great - they give you 8 and my only critique is they need more filling but the taste is great. The house lomein and house fried rice were outstanding. Fresh and not over sauced. The chicken and broccoli and the general tso chicken were what you expect in the taste department and we’re done very well. Their egg rolls were tasty. The highlight though was the boneless spareribs. So many places get this wrong - these were the best I’ve had in the area even topping my usual place. They had the right amount of glaze, weren’t tough and were made completely using rib meat. Sweet, salty, and easy to chew. This place didn’t disappoint and if it’s a battle between Golden Jade or the one across the street in the junction, Golden Jade is easily the winner.“

“I love this place so much. The food is so consistently delicious and the servers are so sweet. The workers are always genuinely welcoming and wow, did I mention how good the food is? Tonight I had chicken and eggplant. It was sweet and garlicky and cooked perfectly. 10/10. We also ate a Thai basil beef dish, also phenomenal and the Singapore noodles ... Fresh, spicy and so tasty. “This is a typical Chinese takeout place with all the familiar dishes and lunch menu items at a typically fair price. Staff is friendly. I wish there wasn't a 10 dollar minimum for credit cards (who carries cash?) but that's not their fault. Food is exactly what you'd expect if you've ever had "hole in the wall" takeout before.“

“I ordered dragon phoenix, vegetable lo mein, and sesame wonton, and they were all so delicious with the sesame wonton being so flavorful and the jumbo shrimp from the dragon phoenix taste so fresh and the chicken with white meat tastes so juicy and crunchy with great flavor

“Best takeout Chinese food I've found in the area so far. Fantastic white meat sweet and sour chicken, which was crispy with a side of sweet dipping sauce, and great pork fried rice. Szechuan chicken was also very good although a little sweet and comes with a lot more vegetables than meat. They did forget the rice with our order so check the bag.“

“This is not a typical fast-food Chinese restaurant that uses the same vendors for all its supplies. Panda House actually uses fresh ingredients and prepares almost everything in-house. Fresh delicious crab rangoon, melt in mouth tender mango chicken, savory flavorful mushrooms, bigger, more tender sweet/sour chicken. What a pleasant and delightful change of pace from ordinary fast food style Chinese food! Highest recommendation!! 😋😋😋😋😋“

“I always order from Eastern Empire for delivery when at work when I crave Chinese food. It's the ONLY Chinese restaurant I trust with fresh delicious food and no salty, greasy, sloppy food.
All dishes are classic tasting and not overly ANYTHING. It's JUST RIGHT. Kind of hard to find that in my own experience.
My absolute favorite is the steamed chicken with broccoli with extra chicken, garlic sauce on the side for a little kick and your choice of plain white or brown rice and their wonton dumplings are the best tasting I have ever had. Order an egg drop dumpling soup and you'll remember this post, trust me. Or you can order a lunch special with pork fried fried rice but that's on your own personal preference.
Hands down one of THE best Chinese food experiences I've ever had and WOW have I had A LOT of disappointment when it comes to terrible Chinese food. For those who know, you know what I'm talking about. You've either got it, or you don't. 👍“

“I can be a very picky eater when it comes to Chinese food. I love general tso, but few places make it right. The sauce is flavorful with a very mild kick to it. A kick, I have never tasted before but was always told it's supposed to be there if the sauce was made right. The chicken was cooked just the way I like it. Soft on the inside with a bit of a crisp on the outside.“

“Now Little Szechwan GoGo. I’ll start with a wonderful young waiter named Jordy. He was literally our guide for the meal at lunchtime. Although I don’t like to eat the fried noodles and duck sauce Americans love so much, there were none. When I asked about that Jordy said they were making them. They make them fresh! The soup broth is some of the best I’ve had, also made on premises. Many good and reasonable lunch choices. Jordy is so knowledgeable about chinese food in general. It was a lovely experience. They offer complementary ice cream for dessert. The pistachio has no food coloring and it actually has pistachios! Excellent all the way round.“

“I was super excited to find this place! I think I've seen this place listed as China Place, and I'm glad it showed up on google as Taiwan place. Taiwanese food is unique in it's complexity and history of different ingredients and cooking styles from it's history of colonialism.

I got Oyster Omelette and Taiwanese Meatball (bawan), #1 and #2. The Taiwanese meatball is delicious, and full of the correct ratios of meat and bamboo. It's a tapioca wrap with fillings!

The Oyster Omelette tasted good too, with a sweet orange red tangy sauce. I don't know the name of this sauce, but it's authentic to my time in Taiwan. There was a good amount of oysters in the omelette! The difference was there was more vegetables in it than I expected.
Overall, I wish this place was closer to me and that they were more people visiting this place! From what I've had so far, it's pretty authentic food. I was concerned about the menu being large and the freshness of the ingredients; since it seems like the restaurant is not very busy, but that was not an issue at all.
