“So, we’re from boston and are visiting my son. Not too much to choose from around here in terms of restaurants. But suddenly I see a sign Minas Grill and went in just because of the word grill. It’s Brazilian! My heart is singing! Great coffee, the food is like home cooked. Loved the cheese bread and you can shop here too! Lovely warm people and so helpful! So we’ll be back while we’re here.“

“THE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH (FOOD OVERALL) IS AMAZING!!! WOW, THE BEST I'VE HAD IN CENTRAL JERSEY. EVERYTHING IS COOKED TO PERFECTION. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME HAVING THEIR BREAKFAST AND LUNCH AND THIS PLACE HAS WON ME OVER. IM VERY PICKY WHEN IT COMES TO A GOOD BREAKFAST, THIS PLACE HAS FULFILLED MY NEEDS. “Come here every time I am in town. The whole team hustles. Last visit was made all the better by our server, Mike. I was sitting in the far side of a large booth. “Just fabulous. I heard of Rook coffee frankly from Alix Earle on TikTok. Anyways I was in red bank and saw a sign and thought that might be that place she kept talking about.
I didn’t have high expectations or anything but I was curious. And it is fabuloussssss - the New Orleans cold brew! I had New Orleans cold brew in New Orleans and always try it black first. When I did it had a very licorice bitter taste. Rook advertised theirs as dark chocolatey and that is what it truly was. I could drink it black but then I added oat milk and it is divine. Love love love! Thank you Rook! Come to NYC 😘“

“Welcome to the screamingest place on earth! To the immense credit of Grandma’s Cheese, the food dramatically improved from when they first opened. Food is amazing!! If you can get past the screaming out of control children and the loud talking adults, then you will love this place. The truth is, the fall/winter/early spring clientele is much much much nicer than the summer crazies. Great food! Great staff! Horrible atmosphere this time of year!!“

I just had their Quesabirria tacos and OH MY GOD, they go up against any restaurant’s, EASILY. And for only $14 where everyone else is charging $17-$18 for the same amount? It’s a steal and I can’t wait to try everything else out on the menu!“

“Just got back from France for a month and the coffee was watered down.. I landed and immediately came here lol! The place smells like and old wood barn, it has a an upstate sort of feel. The manager is so kind and knows everyone. Its be best coffee Ive had and I live in NYC with about 10 cafes in my local area. THIS place ranks the best.“

“I was picking up my mom’s birthday order and mine today. I’m so pleased! They called me in advance to let me know they were out of stock of part of my order. Very attentive. Then when I went there for pick up around 1:15pm today, a girl named (hopefully I heard it correctly) Carrie helped me with everything which was a relief because it’s my first time visiting this place. “Rarely do you find a place that hits home on all the marks, and fortunately for anyone in Highlands, Farmacie is one such place. Both the food and coffee are spot on, and the people working there are pleasant and quick with getting you their order. Definitely a place worth stopping in at whether you live in the area, or you’re simply passing through.“
