Tangy Raspberry preserves made from scratch by Jaclyn as well between the layers. “Got the popular pistachio raspberry cake slice and the mango passion fruit mousse cake. They were both great. The cake slice looks slim but is quite filling. The mango passionfruit mousse had a coconut base which was a little too sweet but the tanginess from the mousse balanced it well. Overall, it’s a decent spot to go to for those sweet cravings.“

“As charming as the bakery is, it pales in comparison to Miss Eleanor, the owner. Over the past several years I developed a sensitivity to wheat, so I wanted a gluten-free snack. She had a wide selection of sweets (cupcakes, cookies, brownies) but I saw the picture of biscuits and quickly decided to enjoy them with my coffee.

I took Ms Eleanor up on her offer to warm them up and chatted while waiting for my order to be complete. We had a lovely conversation about so many things - food, travel, career changes.

The biscuits were delicious and very reasonably priced so I’ll have to make my way back soon.

She was extremely patient with our customizations (I visited first time). This place does not feel like a chain at all and has a very neighborhood shop feel to it. You taste the quality of the ingredients and the love they put while cooking them. The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. They’re on the expensive side compared to other bakery, but once you compare you understand why… You taste the butter in everything!
