“first of all, friendly staff. very "homie" food delicious and very reasonably priced compared to local chains here. the only thing I would change is the fact the young lady kept repeating my sandwiches as "pork roll" its taylor ham ❤ but other then that, Im going here from now on!!!“

“Classic Pork roll, egg, and cheese on a bagel. Reduced one star for smaller bagel options, 10 styles or so. Baker's dozen for $18 is more than fair. Great quality, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Cash only and very limited coffee options. Bring your own travel mug, so hot you might get burned with their cup. Old School Jersey service, great experience.“

“Just because it’s shaped like a bagel doesn’t make it a bagel. I am there every Wednesday morning where I buy 8 bagels. From the glass you can see the giant vat in the back where they ACTUALLY boil their bagels which is the correct way to make a bagel and not just round dough in the shape of a bagel. These bagels are the best bagels I’ve ever had in New Jersey since moving from New York. The woman behind the counter is always so nice. Their bagels for the quality are well priced. I have plenty of bagel spots around where I live but I drive a few extra miles to this place.“

“10/10! Stopped by for a bagel and coffee and it was one of the best bagels I have had in a while! The bagels are light and fluffy with a great flavor and do not leave you feeling too full or heavy afterward. We had the chai latte, pumpkin spice latte, and pb latte all of which were great. The atmosphere is mismatched eclectic with a very cozy coffee house vibe. The service was on point and extremely friendly and the place itself was very clean and well presented. If you are in the area you have to stop in and try it!“

“So happy you guys reopened, a staple of my childhood! Best bagels at the Jersey Shore hands down, and now they offer delicious homemade spreads! I got the mini with Veggie cream cheese and that will be in my weekend rotation from now on. Also the entire place is sparkling clean. I can't believe its the same place. Bravo!!

The bagels were really good (like bagels are supposed to be…dense and chewy not bread shaped into o’s) and the ladies behind the counter could both have been nicer! Worth a visit!! “I've been to every bagel deli in the area and this one outshines them all. Bagels are perfect and the food is great. Staff is friendly and helpful. So glad my grandson, Nick, introduced me to this place. If you want to relax with friends over coffee, there is a small lounge area or sit at a table to enjoy your food.“

“By far best bagel in the area. Would give 5 stars but knocked off one for the customer service. The two ladies there working had zero personality and seemed like they just hate life. I got maybe 3 words out of the lady. All I got was a “Next” when it was my turn to order, didn’t even ask me what I wanted and then I was told the price and got no response to me saying thank you and have a good day. I came in the store saying good morning and thank you after I placed my order so I don’t get the lack of common courtesy and simple conversation. Would I go back….I would for the delicious bagel, but if I get that kind of interaction again it might not be worth it after that.“

“I went to bagel nook in Shrewsbury for the second time today and got a cinnamon toast bagel with cream cheese and it was really good. I love trying unique flavor bagels and this did not disappoint and they have a bunch to choose from! There coffees are good too and plan to try some other drinks/coffees next time. The young guy at the counter was really nice both times I was in there. I work locally and go on lunch late so I was in there close to closing and he gave me free bagels with my order, that really blew me away because I have been to a million bagel places and usually tend to go later when they are close to closing and have never had that happen so that really made my day! I will def be going back there to try the dortito bagel which is next on my list!“

“I always look for bagel places when I am roaming the state of NJ. There is good parking out front of the store. Getting in and out from the highway is a bit tricky. I went at lunchtime so it was not super busy. Odd setup inside makes it hard to order. Service was good. The bagel was very good.“

“Five star all the way .. Grilled chicken mozzarella, roasted peppers and mushrooms on a wrap , Toast toast .. Top shelf n one of the best .. Sign out in front with a big fruit salad on it .. Asked for a small fruit salad , she said that was only for catering , I was like OK no big deal .. When she brought my food out, There was a small salad on my plate .. she went out of her way to give me a small food salad anyway .. That’s going out of your way to please your customer .. 🙏🏻 For the people that don’t know n never ran a business , It’s hard ! On top of dealing with the public, but the high cost of product today . They are there to make a profit to continue doing good and being available for us If you got a problem, go see the manager ! Don’t blast them so fast and hurt their business .. “I have been going to gems since they first opened in Keansburg! They have good food and I understand with food cost they had to raise prices. I wish they would put a little bit more on breakfast sandwiches for what they charge. Other than that they still taste great and the employees are always friendly!“

Not sure of what time they open but I know the close at 3 PM and it's a cash only business, but there is a ATM on the premises.
