“Just because it’s shaped like a bagel doesn’t make it a bagel. I am there every Wednesday morning where I buy 8 bagels. From the glass you can see the giant vat in the back where they ACTUALLY boil their bagels which is the correct way to make a bagel and not just round dough in the shape of a bagel. These bagels are the best bagels I’ve ever had in New Jersey since moving from New York. The woman behind the counter is always so nice. Their bagels for the quality are well priced. I have plenty of bagel spots around where I live but I drive a few extra miles to this place.“

The bagels are light and fluffy with a great flavor and do not leave you feeling too full or heavy afterward. We had the chai latte, pumpkin spice latte, and pb latte all of which were great. The atmosphere is mismatched eclectic with a very cozy coffee house vibe. The service was on point and extremely friendly and the place itself was very clean and well presented. If you are in the area you have to stop in and try it!“

“So happy you guys reopened, a staple of my childhood! Best bagels at the Jersey Shore hands down, and now they offer delicious homemade spreads! “Mikey Bagels never disappoints! Bagels are fresh, chewy, and perfectly boiled — everything and sesame were both excellent. Cream cheese is generous and tasty. Service is lightning fast and super friendly, even at 7 AM. The place has that classic NYC bagel shop energy — love it. My go-to spot!“

“Fanagle has always been a local staple in Long Branch and admired by so many locals for decades. Yes, sometimes there are long lines… however, this is telling of the quality of food Fanagle provides. I’d be more concerned if the place was empty, which, it never is. Once again, a good sign.

It is an over the counter ordering establishment and the staff always brings you your order to your table if you have chosen to eat inside. Due to the increased traffic and long lines the staff can understandably be overwhelmed and most likely annoyed by the amount of rude customers that walk in there. In fact, they do a wonderful job dealing with people who are not so kind.

Krystal and team always say hello and I have never had a bad breakfast at Fanagle. The bagels are amazing, the breakfast sandwiches will cure anything in about 30 seconds and I love the old school vibe. The last thing we need in NJ is another bagel place that looks like a hospital serving hospital food and Fanagle feels like home.

Fanagle is the staple we all grew up with and will continue to be one of our favorite spots.“

“I went to bagel nook in Shrewsbury for the second time today and got a cinnamon toast bagel with cream cheese and it was really good. I love trying unique flavor bagels and this did not disappoint and they have a bunch to choose from! There coffees are good too and plan to try some other drinks/coffees next time. The young guy at the counter was really nice both times I was in there. I work locally and go on lunch late so I was in there close to closing and he gave me free bagels with my order, that really blew me away because I have been to a million bagel places and usually tend to go later when they are close to closing and have never had that happen so that really made my day! I will def be going back there to try the dortito bagel which is next on my list!“

“I always look for bagel places when I am roaming the state of NJ. There is good parking out front of the store. Getting in and out from the highway is a bit tricky. I went at lunchtime so it was not super busy. Odd setup inside makes it hard to order. Service was good. The bagel was very good.“

“Classic Pork roll, egg, and cheese on a bagel. Reduced one star for smaller bagel options, 10 styles or so. Baker's dozen for $18 is more than fair. Great quality, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Cash only and very limited coffee options. Bring your own travel mug, so hot you might get burned with their cup. Old School Jersey service, great experience.“

“People are writing some misleading things about page deli. There has never been a manager who smokes outside. There has never been any instance of food poisoning etc. place is busy during breakfast. They have the best layout, coffee area, variety of snacks and amazing bagels.“

“I only stopped in for a quart of half & half for my morning coffee because with all the holiday shopping, I forgot to get my half & half & I had run out. The store had a large variety of hot & cold foods situated in a display case. All the food looked great. Some of the staff there were cooking in the back & preparing sandwiches & take out foods for the customers in the store. I had to wait just a couple of minutes to be rung up because the guys working, were really working. There is no sitting area, no table & chairs. The thing that annoyed me was the price of the half & half. $5 for a quart of Tuscan half & half. I paid the $5 cause I knew I would probably spend more then that in gas while driving around looking for another store that would sell it for pennies less on Thanksgiving night, lol. Anyway, like I said the food looked good, with a nice variety of cold cuts in the display also. It's good to know there is a 24/7 place that you can go to in the middle of the night for something important. I hope everyone had a.....

“I have been going to gems since they first opened in Keansburg! They have good food and I understand with food cost they had to raise prices. I wish they would put a little bit more on breakfast sandwiches for what they charge. Other than that they still taste great and the employees are always friendly!“

“John and his family are amazing ❤️ his staff member John is also the best , very hard worker . Food is great and Deli is absolutely spotless . Honestly nothing to say bad or disappointing about this Deli . They also have a variety of snacks ,drinks that are gluten free allergy friendly for myself and my daughter that most large box stores don't even carry .“
