Asked for a small fruit salad , she said that was only for catering , I was like OK no big deal .. When she brought my food out, There was a small salad on my plate .. she went out of her way to give me a small food salad anyway .. That’s going out of your way to please your customer .. 🙏🏻 For the people that don’t know n never ran a business , It’s hard ! On top of dealing with the public, but the high cost of product today . “Just because it’s shaped like a bagel doesn’t make it a bagel. I am there every Wednesday morning where I buy 8 bagels. From the glass you can see the giant vat in the back where they ACTUALLY boil their bagels which is the correct way to make a bagel and not just round dough in the shape of a bagel. These bagels are the best bagels I’ve ever had in New Jersey since moving from New York. The woman behind the counter is always so nice. Their bagels for the quality are well priced. I have plenty of bagel spots around where I live but I drive a few extra miles to this place.“

“I went to work with my husband one day. We stopped at this bagel shop, Tommy's Bagels! For breakfast! He ran in as I waited in the truck. Before running into order, he told me that this bagel shop was one of his favorites. And that it was very popular. Waiting inside, he must have waited in line for almost 20-25 minutes. I can understand a breakfast place being busy in the am before the work day begins. But half an hour, I believe is a bit much! I will say, this bagel was amazing! ? ? ? They slapped on the cream cheese, just how I like it! It was overall well worth the wait in my opinion. If you're in a rush in the morning, maybe before stopping by Tommy's Bagels, leave your house a bit earlier. That would be my solution. Or possibly, I went and ordered on one of their busiest days, and it's not always like that. Just keep that in the back of your mind. Because it is so so worth it! The bagel was delicious!“

“These bagels were, in fact, amazing! I couldn't decide and went for the sesame. Both sides were covered, so bonus if you're like me and eat a bagel half at a time. I also got the veggie cream cheese. Delicious. Maybe less stuff mixed in, but great flavor. The apple turnover was also delicious. A good amount of filling and not too messy, but still flaky.

We stopped by around 9AM, so everything was still fresh. My only regret is i didn't get an extra bagel to go. I'll be back.“

What really stood out during my visit was the service. Wael, the gentleman working the front counter, was exceptionally polite, attentive, and patient. His attention to detail and willingness to listen closely to my order, especially as someone who likes to customize their breakfast sandwiches, this was refreshing. In many bagel spots, staff can seem rushed or distracted, but Wael made the experience easy.

Whether you're a classic bacon-egg-and-cheese kind of person or someone who likes to get a little creative with your sandwich, Bagel 1 delivers quality without the chaos. The spot is low-key, but the flavor is next level.

Hes at the former crazy bagels east brunswick next to the bakery and not only are the bagels delicious as they should be he made me breakfast this morning and as usual perfect. He seems the only person I know that listens when someone wants fried soft eggs Thumanns ham sliced thin with cheese on a buttered bagel absolutely delicious. I got maybe 3 words out of the lady. All I got was a “Next” when it was my turn to order, didn’t even ask me what I wanted and then I was told the price and got no response to me saying thank you and have a good day. I came in the store saying good morning and thank you after I placed my order so I don’t get the lack of common courtesy and simple conversation. Would I go back….I would for the delicious bagel, but if I get that kind of interaction again it might not be worth it after that.“

“$3 Nonsense fees when you order online for pickup. For a $13.75 order, I am charged an extra $3 or so. Why am I penalized for choosing NOT to phone in? Most restaurants view phone-in calls as costly and occupying staff time. It's my fault for not noticing before I placed the order. I used the website Preferred By Business, which is usually their POS vendor site, which should have the lowest expense for the shop. Lesson learned, call in your order. Side note, their breakfast sandwich has 2 thin slices of pork roll and 1 slice of cheese. It was pathetic. Bagel was fine.“

“I always look for bagel places when I am roaming the state of NJ. There is good parking out front of the store. Getting in and out from the highway is a bit tricky. I went at lunchtime so it was not super busy. Odd setup inside makes it hard to order. Service was good. The bagel was very good.“

“I love this place, but I do have one complaint. Every time I get a pork roll egg and cheese, they barely put any pork roll. I’ve am willing to pay extra every time. The times that I have they either don’t put any extra on, or when they do it barely looks like a normal amount. Don’t get me wrong it taste delicious, but when you barely taste what you ask for…it’s annoying. Other than that this place is awesome.“

“I just moved to Keyport and I’ve been trying to find places that I can go to eat. Anyway I tried Planet Bagel and I was amazed by the taste of the bagel. I ordered an egg bagel, toasted, with cream cheese, the bagel was toasted to perfection and the cream cheese is creamy and rich in flavor. Tbh I never tried a better bagel in my entire life.
