“Great food and drinks with exceptional service. This is an authentic Mexican restaurant that serves real Mexican food rather than bland Tex-Mex. I love this place and have never had a bad dish. Friendly, family run, spotless, and a gem in Lake Hopatcong.“
“Sweet place for authentic Mexican right in the neighborhood!Great service, ice cold draft or bottled beer, excellent margaritas and all our favorite abd fabulous Mexican food faves! We will definitely be back!Vegetarian options: Plenty of options!“
“March 2024. We've been coming here for years. Really enjoy the authentic tacos. The fixings bar to add sauce, cilantro, onions, cactus, and so much more, allows you to customize the tacos to your taste. Personally I love Al Pastor and Placeros tacos. Service is friendly. They have staff that speak English, which helps us who speak little Spanish. But either way, their menu is written in English and Spanish.Parking is the only hardship. Have to drive around and find a spot.Parking: Drive around until you find parking, esp. on weekends.“
“First off, my wife and I both love Mexican food. Enchiladas were very good. The waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. Somebody spent a lot of time on the murals and decorations. Only drawback is that they don't have a liquor license.“
“"Oh. My. Tastebuds! ? I just had the most divine Birria tacos at 3 Hermanos , and I'm still reeling from the flavor explosion! The tender, slow-cooked goat meat just fell apart in my mouth, swimming in a rich, spicy, and slightly sweet consommé that had me swooning. The fresh cilantro, onion, and lime wedges added a pop of freshness to each bite. But the real game-changer was the housemade tortillas - soft, pliable, and slightly charred - they elevated the entire experience to new heights. I've had Birria tacos before, but these were truly transcendent. If you're a taco aficionado or just looking to try something new, DO NOT MISS OUT ON THESE! ?? 10/10 would devour again (and again...and again...)."“
“I was super impressed by the steak fajitas. The steak that was prepared was excellent quality, cooked perfectly medium-rare as requested. I feel like usually lower-quality steak is used for fajitas at your typical LatAm restaurant, so I was pleasantly surprised when I received a high-quality steak that could’ve been it’s own entree as the meat for my fajita. The cocktails were also fantastic! We had a paloma, a batanga, and a mojito. And the service was perfect as well.“
“Best Authentic Honduran mostly and Mexican food around the area, the baleadas and pollos con tajadas ufff another level of greatness, the staff super friendly and the price is super affordable for being a foreign food type of restaurant… price ranges in between $10-$20 a plate max. Well recommended ??“
“It's always fresh great food however the last few time I have been there the steak is super salty. To the point I feel swollen after I eat it. Please change it back to the way it was, or marinate it with less salt. People should add their own “
“As soon as my partner and I arrived we were acknowledged and seated. Our waitress was kind and prompt. We clearly polished off the complementary chips and dip, which were so good. The food is absolutely delicious. My partner ordered Tostadas and I ordered Flatos. This is not just a diner, they have amazing food. We just stopped in after coming back from the city and boy are we sure glad we did. We both finished our plates. 10/10 would eat here again.“
“This local tavern seems to have transformed itself during the pandemic! The food is amazing! I was surprised at the prices however. We intended to stop in for a few beers and burgers, it was not a special night out but it wound up costing as much as if it were. The noise levels tend to get pretty high in the bar, so you may prefer to sit in the back dining area. Go and support locally owned establishments!“
“We went for dinner and ordered Grilled New York Style Steak with Mexican Adobo Rub, Sauttéed mushroom and onions and Beef Tongue in Green Tomatillo Sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection, it was tender, a generous size. The tongue beef was totally delicious. as well as the Margarita. Chilo, the owner is very friendly and attentive, prices are great. We'll definitely come back!“
“Fantastic place to eat Central American food! It’s my favorite in Dover! The staff is always very friendly and the place is clean and it reflects on their food! Nolvia and JP are always very helpful and attentive and several times Nolvia has gotten out of her way to bring me food to my house when I have been sick even if it’s 15 min away from Dover!Try the cena hondureña, pollo con tajadas and baleada and of course their chicken soup! I love it!!!!!!!!!“
“Had dinner here today and had a great meal with the family. I have ordered delivery multiple times from here before and food was always fresh, but never opted for a review since it was delivery. Also not many Mexican restaurants offer free chips and salsa anymore but they do here so that was nice to see. Some local businesses nowadays definitely overcharge or have high credit card fees and this is one of them that's the only reason for the 4 stars. They have a 4% surcharge so bringing cash is recommended.“
“Little gem that you'd easily walk by thinking it's nothing special. Its special. The food is nothing short of authentic family style and the forward flavors aren't your Americanized mexican food. If like food from Mexico you need to try this place, if you like texmex or Americanized come here knowing it'll be a different experience.“
“Service was great. I was going to tip 20 percent so that would have been 10. Service was so good I tipped 30 ! Nice kids thereParking: No problemKid-friendliness: They would have loved kids if I had them. Staff was awesome but the food was too !“
“First thing I noticed is how clean the place was. The place is not too big, but has plenty of seats and tables for you to sit at. Secondly the staff are super nice and welcoming. The food taste really good as well as is fresh. Overall I would say it's a good place to eat at with healthy options.“
“This is the most delicious authentic Mexican food I have ever had in my entire life. We will stop here on every road trip moving toward. The food is literally an aphrodisiac I feel like I am in heaven. I would literally drive an hour just to be able to eat this food again. Oh my goodness I feel blessed.“
“this was my first time at lola’s. i got the birria tacos with rice. the tacos are really yummy, and the rice is too. only thing — it is NOT cheap. i spent $23 on birria tacos and a jarritos. was it delicious? yes. affordable? not so much, esp for a food court food place.“
“This place has charm and the very welcoming lady and gentleman that might be the owners made it even better. The food was tasty and the prices were fair for the amount of food you get. Would totally come back. And their ají de árbol is delicious. Always a joy to try and support the local restaurants. Totally recommend.“
