“The Beacon was so accommodating since I planned my entire wedding dinner within a month. I needed as few headaches as possible. Edna coordinated everything! The staff was very polite and attentive. Everyone LOVED the food and atmosphere. I will be coming in regularly to try the other dishes on the menu and maybe a little line dancing.“

This is a gastronomic treat from an entire team that does not present any versions of the obligatory standards found on most other menus. The wait staff has a great energy, which adds to the whole dining experience. I travel from PA to experience the food and if it were closer it would certainly be a go-to for me. The attached farm market with its delightful cheeses and treats, as well as unique and wonderfully fun culinary items-and even clothing-make the entire experience a heart-warming and fulfilling journey.“

“Ordered the margarita pizza and it was horrible. Never had raw garlic on a pizza and the tomato was just clumped on and not even cut open. It was also burned and I ended up throwing it away. What a waste of 16. - never again“

“Stopped here after church and was pleasantly surprised. The owner greeted us and sat us immediately. You can genuinely see his care and pride in the restaurant. The service was outstanding. Our daughter was the only child there but they all fussed over her. We really appreciated that. They also made menu modifications for her with no issues. We all loved our food. Portions were plenty and we all brought home some leftovers. Oh and get the beets if you are a beet person. They were fantastic!“

“My husband and I share some seafood. We ordered jumbo shrimp, oysters on the half shell and fried calamari. It was delicious and so fresh. The staff was so polite and attentive. I recommend this beautiful restaurant.“

“Food was hot. Tastes was a 8/10. Waiter never offered me selection of veggies, mashed potatoes are from flake but taste good. Butter would be nice. Ordered meatloaf. Meatloaf was good but you get one slice cut into 3 slim pieces. Like that food wasn’t salty. Coffee hot and good , remember when you got two slices of meatloaf. But maybe too costly ? Over all good.“

“New chef absolutely turned this place around. My gosh. What a difference. The ambiance is awesome and the food is perfection. The octopus is always my favorite and I usually get the porter house or the surf and turf. Put this in the rotation for date nights and great setting for socializing and friends.“
