“We had our son's high school graduation dinner here and it was amazing!! I met with Alfredo to come up with a prefix menu for our family gathering. From the appetizer of chicken empanada with all the fixings, to filled burritos of every kind, and the amazing atmosphere, this was an amazing day! Alfredo and his staff were attentive to us and we left with our bellies full of authentic Mexican meals!! We can't wait to go back and enjoy this local restaurant and share more memories and enjoy delicious food!“

“I went here tonight for my father’s birthday and the experience overall was wonderful. The staff were so kind and welcoming, our waitress was friendly and engaging, and the food was absolutely delicious! I can’t wait to go back and try more stuff off the menu. “Ordering pickup from El Mexicano is so GREAT! Starting with the AMAZING customer service when calling to order our food. The young lady answers very politely, understands our order and gets it right every-time! It is ready is a very timely manner. It is carefully packed, with salsas and chips. Most orders include a little salad, limes, and yummy chiles. We love the enchiladas verdes, pollo empanizado (breaded chicken cutlet). The arroz and fríjoles are DELICIOUS! The carnitas are so YUMMY too! Definitely recommend!“

“We eat here once a week, faithfully. Actually because we have such a big order, we order it for delivery to Piscataway. I ate there twice in the restaurant and was HOOKED! The flavors are so DELICIOUS! We’ve have our favorite menu items and a nice variety. Hands down best place to eat!“

I would recommend the chicken tamales, the Chicken Mole, and the Bandeja Fiesta platter. It was all incredibly delicious!“

“I read through some of the comments and they were about MY grandma, the owner of the restaurant. Someone said that she was a he. And another said she was from somewhere she was not from! She is from MEXICO. People just make me mad sometimes when do stuff like that. If you do not know the gender of someone you don't even know just say 'they' that easy. But after all great food.“

“The staff was friendly and efficient. The place was clean and comfortable. The food was tasty, and the portions were decent. It's a bit pricey for a burrito lunch (35 bucks for 2 people), but almost every eatery falls into that category nowadays.“

“I ate at the Monroe store today. I had never been at a Buubakoos before and did not know what to expect. I had the pork burrito and it was off the hook. The place was spotless and the service was spot on. The manager came over and introduced himself as John and asked if everything was satisfactory, and it was more than satisfactory. You would think John was the owner not just the manager, he cared as if was his own business. It was good to see that. I will be back for sure, my new go to place.“

“My order was ready when I got to the restaurant. My meal was prepared exactly as ordered. The food was not hot(just warm). I had to put it in my microwave before eating it. The portion for my grilled chicken bowl was not as large as usual. Everything however, tasted good I will still be ordering from this restaurant again however I will place my order in the store instead of online.“

“Tacos Basilio has everything, delicious food, good atmosphere and great service. If you are in the Somerset or New Brunswick area you must visit this restaurant. Its owners and staff are always friendly and attentive.

“Recommend: tilapia tacos*, salsa verde, campenchanosGood: tamales, barbacoa tacosOk: chicken flautas, arabes tacos, lengua (tongue) tacos, tripa tacos*Probably would have been a 3 star rating if we didn't like the tilapia tacos so much. They were definitely the favorite. The fish was tender and nicely seasoned.The seasoning and cook on other things were a little hit or miss. Barbacoa had great taste but too salty, arabes were dry, lengua was disappointingly dry and bland. The salsa verde was used liberally to save many of the tacos.The flautas were nice and crispy but the chicken inside was dry.The tripe had some crunchy bits that some people might like but I found them tough.The campenchanos in the flour tortilla were also a bit salty but I liked how soft the tortilla was.The tamales had nice texture, but the cheese stick inside was strange for me.“

“Their flavor is very good, they have a great Mexican flavor and their food options are varied. An excellent place to eat Mexican food.
Wheelchair accessibility: As it does not have steps, it is an excellent option for people who use wheelchairs since access is very easy and the staff is very friendly.“

““I didn't have a reservation, but they seated me immediately and treated me very kindly. The young lady who served us was very patient with the children about the food and an excellent host.” I ordered a Molcajete which was delicious and thanks to the children I even ate fries. I recommend them.“

“This is a very small place to eat and I usually order to pick up. What I can say is the food it’s authentic Mexican , so tasty and delicious , I’m not a big fan of spicy foods but this place use enough condiments on their meats , they use jalapeños but if you don’t want them, request not to put them on your food…overall food it’s delicious highly recommend“

“Seemed like they only spoke Spanish, but Idk. Prices were fair, portion size was just right, food was fantastic. Served chips with salsa verde. The salsa was spicy in the best way. I got pollo el chipotle. It was perfect. Also got pupusas. Definitely authentic food made very well. So far my favorite Mexican place in New Jersey.“

“The most amazing pizza and Italian dishes you will ever eat! Super fresh and always delicious! The owners are the sweetest and truly make you feel special every time you visit. We’ve been customers since they were located in the Meyers parking lot, however, we’ve moved in the last few years and are unable to get our fix of Bella La Pizzeria greatness since. We travel over 3 hours for the best pizza and meals because the food is that delicious! I’m sitting here in heaven this evening enjoying a slice of their perfect pizza. Yummmm!!!…….“

“Stopped at the new Tesla Supercharger down the block. Not many good food options on site but we found Sam’s thru google search. With Boars Head meats and great reviews we had to give it a try! So glad we did! Very generous portions and good bread too. Amazing Jersey Subs!! The place had a steady stream of customers coming in too while they crafted our sandwiches which proved it’s well loved by the locals. They have some picnic tables just outside! Sam I recommend you move down the block next to the charger or once the Tesla Supercharger location is added to the Google maps (I submitted a request to google already) you need to get people to add a review mentioning your deli there.“

“Got this place confused with My Family Restaurant when placing the order online for pick up. Upon realizing what had occurred we drove here and our order was still waiting for pick up; surprisingly still warm enough to eat. All of us enjoyed our meals (chicken burrito, steak tacos, al pastor torta and cheese quesadilla. Everything was delish.“
