If you’re grabbing a bite around lunchtime, you cant beat the focaccia and sandwiches– but the rotating soups/stews on the menu are like a hidden gem. If you come earlier, get one of their delicious cappuccinos and a sampling of pastries. Pictured is a brioche filled with fresh ricotta and lemon curd. Just perfect!“

“I ordered a sticky toffee pudding cake from the Christmas special dessert menu from Scram and it had to be one of the best things the whole family has ever had! It came with caramel sauce and crisped up to perfection in the oven. The sugar balance was immaculate—not too sweet, and even though it was to emulate a pudding, the cake texture was light with crackly edges and delivered a cozy bite each time. To put the cherry on top, I had to change my pickup time at the last minute and Melanie was EXTREMELY accommodating. A true marker of a community-forward, attentive business-owner. Jersey City is lucky to have Scram + team! If not for the delicious, out-of-this-world pastries and desserts, then for their A-Team service!“

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The puffs were perfectly baked with just the right amount of spice, and the pastries were a big hit with everyone — especially the kids! “This place has been in business since 2001 and the owners are blessed ?? to still be up and running. I was 19 when I first ate from here and I am almost 40 years old. The owners have always been good people and they never hiked up the price to rob the community. This tray was considered small and it was priced at $11 and the drink was $2.50. To be able to enjoy a delicious meal for that price is a blessing ?? I was able to eat 3x out of this one tray! Meat tender mac and cheese cheesy it's flavorful as hell! Wishing this establishment many more years of serving and servicing the community!“

Tons of options, especially seasonally, and a great space. Whoever's behind the counter on any given day is personable and fast. The atmosphere is immaculate and the ability to see outside is great.
