“Really cute Japanese cafe in industry city. The wait was a bit long since the shop is small and only the one person works there. The drinks are high quality and you can tell the owner puts a lot of thought and care into her craft. The sesame latte was packed with sesame flavor albeit a bit sweet for me. The matcha latte was excellent and just right. There's also a bunch of creative pastries that looked really good. Definitely worth a visit, just be patient with the wait.“

“I spent the day exploring the downtown area of Manhattan.For lunch, o found Takahachi Bakery. They have a nice selection of bakery items and lunch sandwiches and salads.
Very busy restaurant. Service counter on the right side all the way back to partially open kitchen. Be quick to grab a table.

Service people was pleasant and my stuff came out quick. I got a spicy salmon sandwich and a pastry stuffed with custard. Both were excellent.“

“I’ve been living in the U.S. for 15 years and I still can’t believe I never heard about this place before. The baklava was incredible, and the syrupy dessert with clotted cream inside (I forgot the name) was absolutely amazing. Definitely one of the best dessert spots I’ve tried.“

“The shop is really cute and hidden inside a building. It feels like a secret place.

The drinks are okay, but nothing special.
For the bakery items, they are average. They serve them at room temperature, so they are a bit hard. I think it would be much better if they warm them up before serving.

Overall, it’s a nice spot, but the bakery could be improved.“

I tried the vanilla cream bombolone and that was a home freaking run, as well as the mozzarella tomato confit sandwich and salami, fig jam, Gorgonzola. Bread is nuts, ingredients are super fresh and delicate while still being rich and satisfying. I don’t think you can go wrong here!! I even tried the cafe leccese, which is an Italian iced espresso drink with an almond paste / cream situation that I’ve never heard of before. It was so amazing! Such a unique detail to an already delicious and balanced menu. :)“

I turned to google to find a company that would ship them. I was a little behind the game and ordered them on Monday, late afternoon, for a Friday delivery. I wasn't holding out too much hope that they'd arrive on that day since they were coming from NJ and being shipped to WI but I placed the order anyway with the requested date. But guess what! They arrived on the exact date! Not only that, but they were personalized with Happy Birthday and even her name on some of them! Additionally, they included a handwritten note with my message on it instead of something that was just printed off. They really went over and above my expectations! My granddaughter said each of the flavors were so delicious! I will definitely be ordering from them again in the future. What a wonderful company! (oh! and a side note, out of the companies I found that would ship - Izzy's was the most affordable! BONUS!!!)“

“We ordered the tiramisu cake, and I can honestly say I haven’t enjoyed a cake this much in a very long time. It was incredibly moist, perfectly balanced in sweetness, and wonderfully decadent without feeling heavy.
The biggest compliment came from my 16-year-old son, who isn’t vegan. After one bite, he said it was better than any dairy cake he’d had. Coming from a teenage boy, that’s saying something!

“This is my go to Colombian bakery. I have been a loyal customer since 2012.
Their menu is limited if you are planning to dine in, however, it is quite reliable and consistent. It is pure comfort food.

If you are not that adventurous, I highly recommend their empanadas de carne (beef and potatoes) and pan de bono (cheese bread). Those are usually the favorites of any picky eaters that join us 😁“
