“This bakery is hands down one of the best I've ever been to. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm, welcoming vibe, and the service from Santiago, Natalia, and Herwin was exceptional. The food is outstanding—each item is fresh, flavorful, and expertly made. With such a wide variety of baked goods, I can't wait to try them all. Highly recommend!“

“The one and only best cheesecake shop in the world, IMHO.
A timeless classic. I first tasted it some 20 years ago and it has been consistently excellent throughout the years. Never once let me down.
The original remains my firm favourite.“

“So happy Byclio Bakery is in the neighborhood. Their birthday cakes are stunning and the flavors are off the charts. We had the espresso chocolate frosting for my wife’s birthday and everyone raved about it. The entire staff was super friendly and professional and it was easy to track my order by text. We are definitely coming back here for future cakes and desserts.“

“Outstanding pastries! My favs are their black and white cookies, (best ever!), brownies and chocolate chip cookies. I find their blueberry muffins and cupcakes to be too small - very tiny.“

“Excellent coffee. I had the batch brew, which was roasted by Regalia.
I think this is the best coffee in midtown - best batch brew at least. Black fox alwaus goes for such high extractions the coffee tastes a little “thin”. This tasted like something in the 1:16-17 range, and had a lovely body & sweetness, in addition to bright clarity.
They have several roasters on retail: Onyx Coffee, Sey, and another I didn’t recognize.
Oh, and the passion fruit curd brioche was excellent as well.“

“Amazingly delicious treats! We loved the cloud cake and earl grey puff! It’s to die for! The teas we bought were amazing too! I only have one request, please open up a store in Chicago so I can enjoy your amazing treats more regularly!“

“That sandwich in focaccia bread was everything. It was hitting all the notes of sweet, salty, sour, crispy, crunchy, oily, I savored every last bit.
The sandwich shop itself is quaint, there's sliding scale prices on sandwiches, you can sit at the table in the big window, or outside, it's a nice peaceful block.
I look forward to returning and trying more sandwiches and I'm a vegan! They had options to make several sandwiches vegan and I was completely satisfied. Also got a strawberry lemonade, mmmm, yum tasted very freshly made with real fruit and not too sweet. Got my favorite voodoo chips. There's some deli sides, but I don't think any of them are vegan and there's some breakfast sandwiches, including a vegan option.
I trust them here, they make good food.
Vegetarian options: Pastries, sandwiches, deli sides, everything has a vegetarian option.
But I'm vegan and even I was happy with the sandwich selection that you can order vegan.“

“OMG...this IS the best sponge cake you'll have in NYC. I've had my fair share looking for one that compares to the original Kam Hing. The owner apprenticed with the original Kam Hing owner and finally opened his own cafe! Can't go wrong with the original flavor but the pandan coconut is sooooo goood! it's my new fav! This is my new go to place for sponge cakes!“

“This has to be one to THE best bakeries in NYC. These owners need to get some kind of special award. Everything is excellent ?? high quality ingredients and always lovely service. I live deep in Brooklyn, and whenever I make it to the village or Chelsea I stop here. I buy and freeze and even with thawed bread it is still delicious. Worth every dollar. I hope they stay in business for 100 years.“

“MLW is a classic spot, especially if you're into those famous pork buns (char siu bao) that everyone talks about. The buns are soft, sweet, and packed with flavorful roast pork – definitely a must-try. Besides the buns, they’ve got other dim sum items and pastries like dumplings and egg tarts, and they’re all pretty tasty. It's affordable too, which is why so many locals love it. As for the vibe, it's super casual – don’t expect anything fancy. It’s a bit old-school, with limited seating, so it's perfect if you're just looking for a quick, no-fuss bite.
Overall, if you’re in Chinatown and want something cheap and delicious, Mei Lai Wah is definitely worth checking out. Just go for the pork buns!“

“This bakery was not only spectacular in flavor, but also service. After a long day in the city, we were looking for a tea to cool us down. We walked into the bakery and immediately greeted with warm, family like service. We ended up getting the ginger yujo iced tea and it was so good. The owner himself took the time to get out of the kitchen to greet us and ask how our day was going and what all we did, he also introduced us to his family. Could not recommend this place enough.“

“I normally recommend this bakery to everyone. However, yesterday morning I went to your Brooklyn location to bring home bombalones for family. This morning the strawberry on top on one is literally covered in mold. This is absolutely unacceptable! Unfortunately I'm already back out of state so I can't even come back to get an exchange. I spent around $75 yesterday.... and I get MOLDY food.“

“I had never heard of this place, but a friend suggested it. I was looking for a new bagel shop, so I figured I'd try it out. I was first in a line that I thought was for Popup Bagels but it was for Leon's... make sure you're at the right place! Popup Bagels didn't have a line, which was bittersweet. A line doesn't necessitate quality and experience but it did make me wonder. I enjoyed the aesthetic of Popup Bagels, the music, and the service. The guy who helped me was kind and efficient. But the best part of this place is how freaking good their bagels are! Whew! They're light, hot and fresh, and tasted great! I got two sesame and one everything, with plain smear. So far, the sesame is the only one I've tried, but I'm stoked to try the everything bagel! I got these to share but they might not make it to my friends ?“

“Good bakery serving Nordic bread and pastries. They also have their own coffee roasters. Some seats indoor and outdoor.
(The air inside was really stinky and strong which I won’t recommend to stay inside. Myself, clothes, and stuff became smelly after staying.)
Pastries: ✨??Tebirkes is a MUST! (The staff even recommended it than their cardamom buns!) Really really rich “transformed” almond croissant. The combination of almond paste inside and the sesame topping outside was amazing. It deepened the taste so much.
✨Cinnamon bun was delicious too, better than average. Slightly sticky and doughy.
???Danish rye bread was my VIP. Moist and soft with a solid, crunchy edge. It is not easy to find this kind of European bread in the city.
For coffee, I do recommend! ☕️?Cappuccino was creamy and tasted well balanced.
Would like to try the signature cardamom bun and cookies next time.“

“A lovely bakery with delicious baked goods and a nice seating area. They have space inside and a few tables outside. Bomboloni was super tasty, got the chocolate one, and it had a perfect amount of filling and wasn't overly sweet. Seasonal pastry was even better, made with almond flour tasted slightly like marzipan and had figes, so yum! Coffee is good as well. And their foccacias look amazing, too.“

“Got the pumpkin bun $1.75 and the da bao $2.25. pumpkin bun was light, fluffy, sweet with a soft filling inside. Da bao was also fluffy with a meat center of ground chicken, a quail egg, and a piece of sausage. The bun though is kinda thick. Pumpkin bun 7.5/10. Da bao 7.7/10.“

“So delicious! All the staff is very friendly and helpful with answering any questions. The almond croissants are a must try besides the chocolate babka. The lattes are also the best around the area even though it’s pricy. Everything in here is pricy but the quality is there. In a good location as well to stop by for dessert, to get your bread for the week or to have a full meal to treat yourself. Definitely will go back but not too often other wise I’ll go broke! Definitely recommend to try this place, I only have 4 stars because of pricing but I understand for a lot of business to survive at this time, the pricing is what it is. Especially if you want high quality.“

“SUPER FRIENDLY SERVICE ! We were having a hard time finding good tasting bread while on vacation in Manhattan, NY even in Whole Foods Market in Harlem. My wife and I were doing some leisure wear shopping Downtown and found this French bakery around 4.30pm before we took the subway back to our place. Olivia the cashier was very sweet to us. We bought a couple of lovely looking Baguetttes and a loaf of artisan Sourdough Bread ! Both tasted fabulous with dinner and breakfast !“

“Everyone hates the big company and pushes for the underdog and that's cool but when it comes to groceries and you have dietary restrictions I feel Whole Foods is a real good option. The aura with the expensive soap ? section always uplifts my mood and attitude. The Good Soaps and their brand of soap is like 3 to 4 dollars a bar which I think is fair. Fair prices in my opinion for what you get. They get the majority of my grocery money ?. Bathrooms are not hidden in a sketchy storage area either.“

“Very good bakery. Croissant was right on with texture and flavor for American. Have not try the real French style, so I can’t tell. Baguettes is nicely baked and texture is just right, not to dense or chewy. Wished it could warmed up for eating on the spot.“

“I recently went on a tour of bakeries in New York and heard that they were delicious, so I decided to visit. The inside of the store is bright and clean, giving you a good impression! I bought a baguette and a raisin roll and both were very tasty, especially the baguette, which was the best tasting thing I've ever bought in New York! Although it is located in a location that is a little difficult to access, I would definitely like to visit again!“

“Wow! I discovered this bakery by accident this morning, and was blessed by getting the first taro bun of the day!
It was still steaming hot and absolutely, magnificently delicious. Chewy, tender crust, and just the right amount of sweetness.
Everyone working here was also extremely helpful and friendly! My original choice, an egg custard bun, wasn’t ready yet, but the woman working offered several suggestions and was genuinely excited to be able to hand me the day’s first warm taro bun.
I’m so glad I walked in and tried something new! I will definitely be back :)“

“It’s a nice spot that lasts in Chinatown.
Many traditional food and or desserts.
The only downside is, some items are not kept fresh. I would recommend you to avoid buying fresh item left on counters in room temperature, since there are not additives/preservatives, they go bad quickly esp if they were not 100% cool down prior to putting them in the clear plastic boxes that kept the warm moisture, experience twice already where I had to throw them away by the time I get home and they were a bit sour.
Other than that, soy milk drinks and other items either kept in the fridge or in the hot pots are good.“

“-Double chocolate croissant: my favorite thing to get here!! It is dense, and so rich of chocolate
-Chocolate chip cookie: I heated it up for 10 sec in the microwave but it was too gooey for me. Probably could’ve been better not heated up
-Pistachio eclair: it’s okay to me
Service is always very friendly!
Would love to try their cinnamon roll one day.“

“Wow…..just Wow! Lyndhurst Pastry Shop went above and beyond. We live in Georgia and my granddaughter marched in the Veterans Day Parade yesterday in NYC. And today is her birthday. I called 6 places before I spoke to Matt who said they would take my order. My order was for a full sheet cake with a mellophone on top and it was to be DELIVERED at 7:30 AM this morning at the band’s hotel. I also shipped the plates, napkins, forks, cake knife/server, candles, and lighter stick to the bakery for them to take along with the cake. It was PERFECT!!! The kids loved the cake for breakfast. I can’t thank you enough Matt, Jerry, and Paulette. If you need cakes or pastries, don’t go anywhere else. Even though I didn’t get to taste the cake, chaperones texted me and said the cake was great!“
