“Exceptional Service on My Birthday!

I went to this Cold Stone yesterday to pick up my birthday cake (which looked beautiful, by the way). After leaving, I ran an errand before heading home, and unfortunately, the sides of my ice cream cake slid down a bit. I called the store, and the manager got back to me within minutes. Gloria was so kind and told me to come by so they could take a look.

When I arrived, the team explained that they couldn’t replace the cake, but they would try to fix it up. While I waited, the general manager, Saya, came out to speak with me. She was so understanding and explained how delicate ice cream cakes can be—but because it was my birthday, she went above and beyond and offered to remake the cake for me!

I was honestly so touched by their kindness and the effort they put in to make things right. The new cake turned out perfect, and it completely saved my birthday celebration.

“Went to this location today Saturday August 31st and my experience was amazing drove in from NY on ther was to Delaware, the bathroom was sparkling smelled fresh. The staff was amazing polite, smiled and even stated they were there to make us happy in which the over succeded doing so. Stumbled upon Buttercup Bake Shop and they were so awesome! Totally worked with me and delivered the cupcakes with NO hassle. “This bakery is awesome! The inside is adorable and the baked goods are amazing. We had a blueberry rosemary cheesecake kouign aman and it was one of the best pastries I’ve ever eaten.

There’s a few seats in the shop which was nice to enjoy our treats. Surprisingly not super busy on a Saturday morning but I can’t imagine that will last long!“

“Bread is always soooo yummy and flavorful! Favorite bread is the white concha and one that looks like a croissant but taste like hojaldra orangey flavor I loveeeee. Also the rosca the best ever. They’re not stingy with the sweet sugary part of the rosca there’s enough for all for the amount they add. The place is semi empty perfect for taking ur time in choosing ur bread. Oh and the peach 3leches slices are good.“

“Honestly one of the only bake shops I truly like here on Staten Island. The items have always been fresh (other bake shops sold me day old items and it shows in the taste), taste amazing, aroma delicious! I also ordered two occasion cakes and both times they were excellent!“

“I keep going back to this bakery ever since I tried their prosciutto baguette - if you’re lucky to get your hands on one, you’ll likely eat it all in one sitting, so I always recommend getting 2. Their sourdough is also very affordable under $8 and they slice it for you.

And as a tip for the owner: I found the shop just because I passed by and now that I searched it in google maps to support with my review, I saw the pictures posted here are all focused on big-events cakes, I’d never thought I can go grab breakfast/brunch on daily basis so maybe you want to add some pictures of that too ~ just want everyone to find what you offer!“

“An amazing establishment that I’ve been to at least a hundred times, consistent quality among all the pastries, delicious coffee everytime iced or hot, fast friendly service, and extremely reasonable prices. My go to whenever im craving something red bean related or need good coffee in canal street that won’t cost me an arm and a leg!“
