“I usually order the ancho potato burrito with avocado (if you know, you know 😌), but this time I tried some of Alfalfa’s new breakfast items and was really impressed.

The Avocado Tartine is simple but done so well — great sourdough, perfectly ripe avocado, and the crispy shallots and superseed crunch add just the right texture and subtle heat. The Organic Yogurt & Homemade Granola was a standout too: thick, tangy yogurt with cardamom-forward granola, fresh strawberries, and a touch of sweetness from the jam and honey.

Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and thoughtfully made. An easy go-to for a solid breakfast or brunch in JC.“

“Currently enrolled at NJCU and this of course my go to place when I’m hungry. The food and beverages are delicious, but service can be a bit slow only 15-20 min. before or after a block of classes gets out. If you go during those times, you can expect longer wait times and the (slight) possibility that you’re order may be wrong. This is a coffee shop on a university campus.... please have realistic expectations.“

“Dunkin used to be my go to place for coffee and breakfast. I used to go almost every other weekday for years, way before they even rebranded the name to drop "Donuts". After moving out of my home town, I found that other locations were always inconsistent or just down right bad with their coffee preparation, so I moved onto new coffee chains.

After a few years without Dunkin, I started going to this location this past year out of convenience. From the beginning, I had no complaints and my coffee and food always came out tasting good and in timely fashion.

Over the summer I finally found myself coming here on a consistent, almost weekly basis, and each time I'm pleased with my experience. This location is really consistent with their iced coffee and breakfast sandwiches.

The staff is always very friendly and when I stop in during non-rush hour traffic, they are attentive. Today was a great example. I stopped in around 10:40am, and I was in no less than a minute before the two woman who were working up front asked me what order number I was there for. They were very clear in communicating that they were working on my order and it would be ready shortly.

Just a shout out to this location. Whatever management is doing here, keep it up“
