“First time in New York with my family and I, ironically enough my mother is German and her name is Katja so this made us want to check it out and we were extremely impressed, great service and loved the food! We came back a second time within the same week of us being in town, definitely recommend and it’s great to see establishments such as this in the states!“

“GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. Bisher konnte ich leider in New York trotz Bezeichnung Döner keinen ordentlichen Döner entdecken. Das was da verkauft wurde, heißt zwar Döner, hatte mit Döner aber recht wenig zu tun und schmeckte noch viel weniger nach einem Döner. Um so mehr dann die Erleuchtung... die Empfehlung eines Freundes in Brooklyn lebend. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. -------------------------------------------------“

“Came with friends and the fast flickering light was bothering my epilepsy so I asked my waitress Aleksandra if I could sit outside. She was wonderful bringing me beers and serving both friends inside and me outside. She went above and beyond. Great service. Great beer. Loved the atmosphere (sad I couldn’t handle the lights). The outdoor tent was great for people watching. Just a lovely experience all around.“

Then to all the Players … the music room is wood-based with a vented ceiling both allowing super warmness and absorption for you band’s lower-registered folk and volume-headroom for your scream & shout folk and everything else … what’s not to love … Rock on Radegast !!!!!“

“Second time to Bunny and was not disappointed. The food was even better than I remembered. A standout for me was the Garlicky Labne w/ Ras-El-Hanout carrots and chili butter. Was served with homemade, fresh out of the oven bread in a paper bag. Done right.I will say that it was a bit disappointing to only have water to drink (no non-alcoholic beverages.) Feel like I missed out on a part of the experience drinking just water.Overall, a delicious spot for a satisfying meal. Cash or Venmo only.“

“My friend says he's been here like 4x in the last year and I can see why. The pork shank is a work of art. With its crispy skin, juicy, meaty, and fatty interior, it checks all the boxes. It was a really awesome dish to share with others. The sausages that accompanied were quite tasty dipped in their house mustards. I also greatly enjoyed their cabbage and kraut. We also ordered the Jager schnitzel with perfectly cooked spatzle on the side. I'm not the biggest fan of cream sauces but the schnitzel was tasty and the saptzle well seasoned. Cozy restaurant with solid service and a great place to share meat with friends!“

“At this lovely Austrian restaurant, I savored the classic Wiener Schnitzel paired with a side of flavorful potatoes and refreshing cucumber salad. The crispy, tender veal cutlet was a standout dish, perfectly complemented by the light and tangy salad. Additionally, the Viennese Beef Goulash served with fresh herbed Spatzle was a comforting delight, with the tender beef and rich, savory sauce creating a satisfying meal. The cozy atmosphere and old-world charm of the restaurant added to the overall experience, making it a delightful culinary journey through Austrian traditions. It was beautiful lunch and I highly recommend to everyone ?“

“I have been for my dad’s birthday on several occasions, but today I had a small Bark Day party for my puppy. The outdoor seating with heat lamps were pawfect for us! Anywhere with dog friendly seating is a must re-visit. Also the food is delicious!“

“Nothing over the top. It's a nice beergarten with a decent variety of beers and other drinks. The food was good (some options were out, so at least that means they keep it fresh, I hope) and the service was OK (except for when they had us sit right by the kitchen entrance when the place had most of its tables empty). The outside space is what you'll expect from a "yard" squeezed between NYC's high risers. I personally prefer something with at least some view or an air flow. Will I go again or recommend? If you're in the area or local - yes. Come here specifically - no.Expect Manhattan prices.“

“Significantly better than the first time I tried this chain at another location. The rice was a little al dente for my taste, but the meat was seasoned well and it definitely did the trick. They understood when I asked them to be careful about cross-contamination because I have celiac and need to make sure my food is gluten-free, but they didn’t seem very happy about it!Dietary restrictions: GF options marked but staff aren’t very reassuring, and bread is present in the kitchen“

“Never been to German restaurant but really liked this place. I tried the cod fish sandwich and lemonade and really enjoyed it. My family members ordered the beer and wouldn't stop drinking it. They liked the chicken and waffles- they said the waffles were soft and meat was juicy. Hardly like chocolate but decided to try it since they were out of the apple strudel. It was creamy and not as sweet as other cakes. Definitely enjoyed the lovely dessert. Will come back again!“

“This was the best chicken döner I've ever had. The slaw, chicken, turkish pita, everything was perfect. The bread tasted fresh, the slaw was refreshing, the chicken was juicy and flavorful. The feta added the salty, the sauces added depth. I wish there was this place in Florida because I will crave this until I can get one in Turkey (married into a turkish family).“

“We were visiting for a hockey game and this establishment is right beside the Prudential Centre. Sat at the bar and the staff are 5* amazing folks who enjoy what they do and so friendly and great service. We met some friendly good human beings who are regulars as well that were so kind to us visiting from Toronto. Good Guinness on draught and we tried the pretzel (perfect amount of salt and that side sauce OMG) as well as their bratwurst sausage which was fresh and piping hot.“

“This is our goto place as its close from work.It has amazing atmosphere.Only giving 4 stars as outdoor seating could be little better, I am all up for rusty and industrial looks but benches need to be little more clean and polished. Some of these had splinters coming out, hope it doesn't hurt anyone.Fries are amazing and onions rings could be made little less oily. They have a good selection of beers and reasonable prices.“

“The Classic: Great bratwurst with plenty of sauerkraut. The bratwurst was flavorful and juicy. Overall a delicious way to satisfy my cravings. You order at the window outside, but there are standing tables available indoors. You may have to ask for them to unlock the door, though. There are also standing tables outside.“

“Interesting place. Ticket system is a bit odd. If they want to go cashless there are other ways to do that. Not loving an additional long line... Beer was ok. Nothing to get crazy for and nothing to spit out in disgust. Just regular old beer. Hefeweizen, pale ale and lager for us. Food was good as well. Mustard was oddly very good. We had the platter and the wurst and pretzel were the best part. Service was good all around. I would return for ambiance on a nice enough day.“

“We go here for Trivia night every Wednesday. As we're regulars we're always served well, though last night's service was really poor even though they weren't that busy. I love this place for the beer and sausages - you can't go wrong in a German restaurant . Try the kielbasa, chicken brat and the currywurst with a few toppings. The main dishes are pretty good too. But definitely, definitely go here during trivia night. Joe, the host, is just a real fun energetic dude and the vibe of this place is just at another level during that time.“
