“Few places are as accommodating as the staff here. The menu, although on available digitally, is extensive. Large selection of GF (gluten free) items. You can start with apps, choose from pizza or pasta as an entree. It is BYOB and that can make for a fun evening. They will accommodate to suit taste, we had someone that was sensitive to sodium, they adjusted sted the entree to suit. The place is small, the food tasty and seriously, the service is over the top.“

“Went this evening to try this new place as I was graving some shawarma. Had a beef shawarma that came with olives and pickles. Flavor was very authentic Middle Eastern in both the shawarma and pickles. I also had their fattoush which was very good. 2 people can easily be served from both the shawarma and fattoush! Overall, good food, nice place. Will be back.“

“I ordered the Peruvian Chicken Market Plate.

The portion is good and the plate is well balanced.
You get rice and lentils, chicken, sweet potatoes, corn, pickled onions, and avocado mash, so there’s a nice mix of protein, carbs, and vegetables.

The chicken was flavorful and not dry.
The green aji sauce added a good kick, and the pickled onions helped balance everything out.

Overall, it’s a solid, filling meal if you want something healthier than fast food but still satisfying.

“If you are looking for GOOD NY style pizza, you need to try Nonno's. There are many pizzerias in the Clifton / Nutley area, but in my opinion the pizza here is one of the best I have had. Sauce is favourable. Cheese is good quality unlike some places where they fall off the moment you pick up the slice. Service is super friendly and accommodating. It's a small place with a feeling of a neighbourhood-go-to pizzeria“

“It's decent. I would say for the same price, 7th Street Burger and Harlem Shake is better but still a fine place to go. I got the fried chicken and it didn't have much flavor - you can see the chicken is still pale yellow (comparatively to seasoned fried chicken/fried long enough chicken). Although looking at the burger again, the patties seem larger than the ones at either of the first two places I mentioned if you're looking for quantity.“

“This place is amazing! I have celiac disease and have a hard time finding safe places to eat. I had the gluten free chicken tender platter and chocolate chip cookies, which were both unbelievable. The wait staff was incredibly kind and attentive and explained that everything was prepared separately using a dedicated fryer. My gluten consuming family also loved their food. My husband said it was the best pastrami he’s ever had and my son had an “extra cheesy” grilled cheese. The owner visited our table and introduced himself. Cannot recommend this place enough!“

These guys let me charge my phone behind the counter so I could find my way back to the hotel. After my phone was charged, I asked if I could buy pizza when they were about to close. They cut me a deal on a variety of pizza slices - stayed open a little later to make sure I got my pizza warmed up, got my phone charged and waited until the other guests there gave me directions. “I usually don’t write reviews, but I am making an exception for this one just because the guy working there was super kind and respectful about the situation. My friend made a togo pickup on the app and we waited about 15 minutes for his food, and he still didn’t get it, so he went up to the counter just to find out that his order was already ready, the guy working there apologized and explained that he didn’t put it on the pick up shelf because people would usually go in and grab the bag( they probably though that way because when we entered my togo bag was on the shelf, so I grabbed it). He also gave my friend a free drink to compensate for it. I really loved how he handled the situation and was very apologetic about it, so it felt less uncomfortable eating inside the store. Aside from this the food tasted amazing and the portion size was filling.“
